After being loaded, AL PRINCE became fractious. The performances of, AL PRINCE and FRESH AIR, both of which finished tailed out, were considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, AL PRINCE and FRESH AIR will both be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in an official barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. Passing the 400 Metres, INVINCIBLEKINDNESS was shifted in away from the heels of WINE WIN to continue improving. Near the 350 Metres, DIAMOND KNIGHT was checked when racing tight outside XI YING MEN which got its head on the wide and hung out. Having in mind the racing manners of XI YING MEN, no further action was taken. XI YING MEN continued to hang out for the remainder of the race. Passing the 300 Metres, KING MOSSMAN shifted out and bumped SUPREME TAIJI which was improving between that horse and SPACE RACE. A veterinary inspection of FRESH AIR and DANE PATROL after the race did not show any significant findings. EAGLE REGIMENT and SPACE RACE were sent for sampling.
