TOP THRONE (K116): After the event K Teetan reported that his mount made a respiratory noise during the running of the race. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer”. CARROLL STREET (D489): Shortly after the start was bumped. After the event L Hewitson stated that he was able to hold a more forward position in the early stages when his mount commenced well and he felt that the pace of the event was being run outside of standard time. WATCH THIS ONE (K268): Shortly after the start was bumped. When giving ground approaching the 50 Metres was steadied when crowded between CARROLL STREET and LITTLE MONSTER (C L Chau) which shifted to the inside of ENJOY GOLF to obtain clear running. C L Chau was advised to exercise more care. After the event L Ferraris reported that his mount was able to obtain an on-pace position but gave ground from the 150 Metres when placed under pressure. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. ABSOLUTE LUCKY (K070): No report. CALL TO COMMAND (J243): No report. DR GOLDEN GENERAL (K412): Shortly after the start was steadied when crowded between WATCH THIS ONE and ENJOY GOLF which shifted in and away from TOP THRONE despite the efforts of its rider. ENJOY GOLF (J222): Shifted in and away from TOP THRONE shortly after the start and as a result was bumped and became unbalanced. After the event H Bentley reported that his mount lay in when placed under pressure in the Home Straight. FLOWING RICHES (K293): Bumped at the start. Sent for sampling post-race. LAHORE (K043): Sent for sampling post-race. LITTLE MONSTER (K391): When questioned regarding his riding over the concluding stages and the reason why he did not continue to improve between TOP THRONE and ENJOY GOLF C L Chau stated that after following ENJOY GOLF he was concerned that runner would shift out which would result in LITTLE MONSTER being held up for clear running. He added approaching the 50 Metres after being briefly up behind ENJOY GOLF he elected to shift to the inside of ENJOY GOLF to continue into clear running when he was of the opinion that ENJOY GOLF had shifted out slightly. OWNERS' SUNSHINE (K437): Shifted in at the start and was bumped. INCANTO STAR (K343): Jumped only fairly and then was bumped by OWNERS’ SUNSHINE which shifted in. MR DESIRA (K411): H Bowman was replaced by C Y Ho (see General). Bumped at the start. Sent for sampling post-race. POWER SUMMIT (K044): Near the 250 Metres was eased to avoid LITTLE MONSTER (C L Chau) which shifted out to improve. C L Chau was advised to exercise more care.
