HEROIC MASTER (G394): After the event Apprentice E C W Wong could offer no explanation for his mount’s performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. MULTIDUTCH (K171): As the start was effected lunged forward, made contact with the left side of its barrier and as a result was very slow to begin. The barrier manners of MULTIDUTCH were considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, MULTIDUTCH will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial. STRAIGHT TO GLORY (K340): Shifted out at the start, made contact with the right side of its barrier and lost ground. EXTREME BOMB (K224): Shortly after the start was severely checked when crowded between NOBLE DELUXE and SUPERB GUY. HAPPY ACTION (K399): As the start was effected lunged forward when MULTIDUTCH became fractious, resulting in HAPPY ACTION making contact with the front gates of the starting gates as it jumped. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. MING SUPREME (K430): Shifted in at the start and was bumped. MR DESIRA (K411): Lay in when placed under pressure in the Home Straight. After the event H Bentley stated that his mount jumped awkwardly, travelled comfortably in the early and middle stages but did not finish the race off when placed under pressure in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. ROBOT LUCKY STAR (K485): No report. SUPERB GUY (K323): Had its right hind plate refitted in the saddling stalls, was examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race. Shortly after the start was severely checked when crowded between EXTREME BOMB and BEAUTY THUNDER which shifted out abruptly despite the efforts of its rider A Badel after being bumped by MR DESIRA (H Bentley) which shifted out despite the efforts of its rider. As the Stewards were satisfied that both A Badel and H Bentley had endeavoured to correct their mounts as soon as they shifted ground, no action was taken. BEAUTY THUNDER (J299): On jumping was bumped by MR DESIRA which shifted out, resulting in BEAUTY THUNDER becoming unbalanced, shifting in and having to be corrected by its rider. REWARDING BUDDY (J373): No report. RISING PHOENIX (J498): Sent for sampling post-race. AMAZING GALAXY (J238): Sent for sampling post-race. NOBLE DELUXE (K052): On jumping was crowded and became unbalanced. Between the 400 Metres and the 300 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when positioned behind ROBOT LUCKY STAR.
