WITHOUT DELAY (K262): Between the 450 Metres and the 300 Metres was held up for clear running. MIDORI GIANT (K095): After the event L Ferraris stated that his mount did not travel well during the race and made an abnormal respiratory noise. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. PING HAI COMET (H344): After the event B Avdulla reported that after enjoying a comfortable run during the race his mount commenced to give ground from the 300 Metres and he could offer no explanation for its disappointing performance. Trainer J Size advised that he would now give the horse a let-up having regard to today’s performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. The performance of PING HAI COMET was considered disappointing as compared to its previous race starts. Before being allowed to race again, PING HAI COMET will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. Sent for sampling post-race. TOY SOLTERO (J268): No report. YIU CHEUNG VICTORY (J529): Near the 600 Metres was bumped when taken wider by PING HAI COMET. OCEAN IMPACT (J502): Near the 500 Metres was steadied to avoid DOUBLE WIN when that runner shifted to the outside of WITHOUT DELAY. PERFECT PAIRING (J331): Jumped only fairly and then was crowded between ROSEWOOD FLEETFOOT and HAKKA RADIANCE, both of which shifted ground slightly. YOUTH POWER (H358): Sent for sampling post-race. DOUBLE WIN (H382): Slow to begin. Between the 450 Metres and the 200 Metres was held up for clear running. Leaving the 50 Metres was shifted to the inside of YOUTH POWER to continue into clear running. Over the concluding stages could not be fully ridden out when it improved quickly behind KINGLY DEMEANOR. ROSEWOOD FLEETFOOT (J524): Bumped on jumping. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. FOREVER FOLKS (G463): Slow to begin. KINGLY DEMEANOR (H486): Sent for sampling post-race. HAKKA RADIANCE (J105): A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. MUSANG KING (K068): The performance of MUSANG KING, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, MUSANG KING will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
