GIDDY UP (J020): Bumped at the start. Leaving the 700 Metres GIDDY UP improved to the outside of LOOKS OUTSTANDING after LOOKS OUTSTANDING shifted to the rail. A short distance later CALL TO COMMAND was eased when racing tight to the inside of BILLION TWO. As a consequence LOOKS OUTSTANDING was then checked to avoid CALL TO COMMAND and shifted out to avoid that runner, resulting in GIDDY UP being badly crowded for room between LOOKS OUTSTANDING and LOVEISINTHEAIR and being severely checked. As the Stewards were satisfied that the pace of the event easing during that section of the race and the racing manners of LOOKS OUTSTANDING and GIDDY UP were contributing factors with this incident no action was taken. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. NORTHERN BEACHES (H266): Jumped awkwardly, made contact with the left side of its barrier and lost ground. CALL TO COMMAND (J243): No report. AUDACIOUS PURSUIT (K398): Shifted out approaching the winning post and was bumped. BILLION TWO (K212): After the 600 Metres became unbalanced when it made contact with CIRCUIT VICTORY whilst racing tight to the inside of that runner. In the Home Straight lay in and proved difficult to ride out. Noted to have blood at the left nostril after the race. An endoscopic examination conducted on BILLION TWO found that there was no blood in its trachea and therefore the blood in the nostril was determined to be not coming from the lungs and as such the horse was deemed not to have bled. COPARTNER FLEET (K342): Sent for sampling post-race. INNO SUPER (K319): On jumping was bumped by COPARTNER FLEET which shifted in, resulting in INNO SUPER becoming unbalanced. Leaving the 700 Metres was checked to avoid LOOKS OUTSTANDING which gave ground when being checked. VOYAGE BOSS (K321): Approaching the winning post shifted out, resulting in its rider K C Leung having to straighten his mount. Sent for sampling post-race. HONEST WITNESS (K283): On jumping was bumped by LOVEISINTHEAIR and shortly afterwards was crowded by CALL TO COMMAND which shifted in slightly. Sent for sampling post-race. LOVEISINTHEAIR (J550): Jumped awkwardly, shifted out and made contact with HONEST WITNESS. Approaching the 900 Metres got its head up when being steadied to avoid AUDACIOUS PURSUIT. LAKESHORE HERO (J288): From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Leaving the 700 Metres was steadied to avoid LOVEISINTHEAIR. Over the concluding stages was bumped by AUDACIOUS PURSUIT which shifted out. LOOKS OUTSTANDING (K022): Bumped at the start. After the 300 Metres was shifted to the outside of BILLION TWO to obtain clear running. BLUE BARON (J448): Jumped only fairly and made contact with INNO SUPER which shifted in. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. CIRCUIT VICTORY (H487): Bumped after the 600 Metres. Noted to have sustained cuts to the left front leg after the race.
