QUICK MONEY (K377): After the event C L Chau reported that he expected to hold a midfield position. He added when caught wide in the early stages he allowed QUICK MONEY to stride forward and cross runners to his inside to avoid covering additional ground. Sent for sampling post-race.
KING DANCE (K157): After the event L Hewitson reported that his mount, which was having its first race start, raced greenly during the race.
LIGHT YEARS GLORY (K204): Near the 100 Metres improved into a narrow run between FIELD MARSHAL and BABIECA. A short distance later FIELD MARSHAL shifted out slightly and BABIECA was taken in by QUICK MONEY which resulted in LIGHT YEARS GLORY being crowded and becoming unbalanced. Sent for sampling post-race.
MOTOR (K165): Between the 400 Metres and the 250 Metres was held up for clear running.
SPARKLE AND GOLD (K259): Bumped shortly after the start. Over the final 100 Metres lay in and could not be fully ridden out when improving to the outside of HYANNIS STAR.
YOUNG FIGHTER (K464): No report.
BABIECA (K326): Near the 100 Metres raced tight to the inside of QUICK MONEY and made contact with LIGHT YEARS GLORY. In this incident Z Purton was restricted from being able to use his whip when it accidentally made contact with LIGHT YEARS GLORY.
FIELD MARSHAL (K433): Shifted in abruptly on jumping, became unbalanced and made contact with WINNING CHAMPION. Near the 100 Metres made contact with LIGHT YEARS GLORY when commencing to give ground.
HYANNIS STAR (K331): On jumping was crowded between WINNING CHAMPION and SPARKLE AND GOLD. After the event L Ferraris reported that his mount was obliged to race wide and without cover throughout the race. He said HYANNIS STAR also raced greenly throughout the race and these were the reasons why the horse was not able to run on in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
WIN METHOD (K406): Approaching the 100 Metres raced greenly when improving into a narrow run between QUICK MONEY and HYANNIS STAR.
WINNING CHAMPION (K429): On jumping was checked when crowded between HYANNIS STAR which shifted out slightly and FIELD MARSHAL which shifted in abruptly despite the efforts of its rider. In the Home Straight lay in and raced greenly and after the 50 Metres was held up behind FIELD MARSHAL and shifted to that runner’s outside to continue into clear running.
KIAMA (K359): Withdrawn on 23.5.25 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame left hind). Before being allowed to race again, KIAMA will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
