Lay in in the early part of the Home Straight. THE AZURE (J227): In the early stages raced ungenerously when being steadied in an attempt to obtain cover behind INTREPID WINNER. THE WAY WE WIN (J493): From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. HIGHLAND RAHY (J298): Sent for sampling post-race. FIREFOOT (J183): No report. AMAZING AWARD (J236): Near the 1100 Metres was steadied and shifted to the outside of INTREPID WINNER when INTREPID WINNER went amiss. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. SMART CITY (J213): Approaching the 1300 Metres was steadied to avoid THE AZURE. Near the 1100 Metres was checked to avoid INTREPID WINNER when INTREPID WINNER went amiss. INTREPID WINNER (G144): Near the 1100 Metres went amiss when it sustained an injury to its right front leg. Samples were taken from the horse. CONFRINGO (J322): Slow to begin. Near the 1300 Metres became unbalanced when crowded by AMAZING AWARD which, after improving to the inside of THE AZURE (L Ferraris), was then taken in by THE AZURE before THE AZURE was corrected by its rider. A short distance later, SUPER TREASURE (Y L Chung) shifted in, resulting in THE AZURE then racing tight to the inside of SUPER TREASURE. Both L Ferraris and Y L Chung were advised to exercise more care. Near the 1100 Metres was steadied away from INTREPID WINNER when INTREPID WINNER went amiss. SUPER TREASURE (J211): No report.
