EXCEL WONGCHOY (J194): From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Trainer P C Ng confirmed that from a wide barrier the instructions were to ride the horse in a conservative manner in the early stages. Held up for clear running between the 400 Metres and the 300 Metres. Again near the 100 Metres became held up for clear running behind MASTER TRILLION and could not be ridden out to the finish of the event. MASTER TRILLION (J442): Near the 700 Metres was taken wider by CHARMING BABE which shifted to the outside of GLORY CLOUD. Sent for sampling post-race. CHARMING BABE (J513): No report. HYPER DRAGON BALL (G450): After the event, H T Mo stated that after being slow to begin his mount became detached from the field despite his efforts to ride it along in the early stages when it did not show sufficient pace to hold its position. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. GLORY CLOUD (H320): After the event, Apprentice E C W Wong could offer no explanation for his mount’s failure to finish the race off. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. LUCKY SAM GOR (K114): Noted to have blood in the mouth on arrival at the Start, was examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race. TOP TIME (K006): Held up for clear running between the 350 Metres and the 200 Metres. MR JUSTICE (K072): From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Near the 300 Metres lay in and brushed the running rail. GALLANT EPOCH (J451): Sent for sampling post-race. HAPPY AGAIN (J117): After the event, M Chadwick advised that his instructions from a wide barrier were to take up a forward position. HE WAS ME (J535): Jumped awkwardly, made contact with the left side of its barrier and became unbalanced. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event and near the 700 Metres was taken wider by MASTER TRILLION. MEEPMEEP (H234): Jumped only fairly. STRONGEST BOY (H027): No report. GOLDEN DARCI (H470): No report. EURO ROCKS (H153): Withdrawn on 7.2.25 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame left fore) and replaced by Standby Declared Starter HE WAS ME. Before being allowed to race again, EURO ROCKS will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
