SMART FIGHTER (H278): After the event, L Ferraris stated that his mount enjoyed a good run during the race but was unable to finish the race off strongly over the concluding stages. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. OWNERS' PRAISE (H047): No report. TELECOM DRAGON (H322): From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Lay in in the Home Straight. SKY JEWELLERY (K032): On jumping shifted in abruptly and shortly after the start was bumped and became unbalanced. Approaching the 200 Metres was briefly held up for clear running when attempting a narrow run between SMART FIGHTER and SEA SAPPHIRE which shifted in slightly. Sent for sampling post-race. TRAVEL GOLF (H063): From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. GOOD PROSPECT (J406): Crowded shortly after the start. After the event, C L Chau reported that his mount raced keenly in the early and middle stages. SEA SAPPHIRE (H343): After the event, B Thompson stated that his mount travelled satisfactorily in the early stages but failed to respond to his riding when placed under pressure in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of mucus in the horse’s trachea. SILVER SPURS (J043): Shifted out at the start and was bumped. After the event, A Badel stated that his mount jumped well and showed good pace in the early stages and as a result was able to cross to the lead approaching the first turn. GIMME FIVE (J099): After travelling a short distance was crowded for room between SKY JEWELLERY and GOOD PROSPECT which was taken out by OWNERS’ PRAISE. GLORY B (H373): Jumped only fairly and then was bumped by SILVER SPURS which shifted out. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. VIGOR ELLEEGANT (J375): In the middle stages raced keenly and got its head up when being steadied away from SILVER SPURS. Sent for sampling post-race. ALMIGHTY KICK (J254): Jumped only fairly and then was checked shortly after by SKY JEWELLERY which shifted in abruptly.
