SPIRIT OF PEACE (K007): Shifted in on jumping and was bumped. FORERUNNER (G465): After the event A Hamelin stated that it was not his intention to be forward. He said when FORERUNNER jumped well he elected to make use of his mount in the early stages to cross runners to his inside to avoid racing wide and this resulted in FORERUNNER holding an on-pace position. SHAMUS STORM (K031): Sent for sampling post-race. MAX QUE (J514): Between the 400 Metres and the 250 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running. Sent for sampling post-race. MIGHTY STEED (J384): No report. DREAMING WINNER (K046): Jumped only fairly. Making the turn leaving the 900 Metres hung out and lost ground when positioned close to MIGHTY STEED. OLDTOWN (K105): From the 700 Metres was left racing wide and without cover. VIVACIOUS WIN (K223): Made contact with the left side of its starting gate on jumping and shortly after was then bumped by SPIRIT OF PEACE which shifted in. SUGAR QUEEN PRAWN (K149): Jumped awkwardly. After the event L Hewitson stated that from a wide barrier he was instructed to take up a forward position. Trainer D J Whyte confirmed the instructions issued. GALVANIC (H147): Between the 250 Metres and the 150 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when held up behind SUNNY DARLING. After the event T Marquand stated that from the inside barrier and with his mount stepping up to 1400 Metres he was asked to hold an on-pace position. He said, in his view, GALVANIC was not suited by being ridden in this manner as he was required to make use of his mount in the early stages to comply with his instructions. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. KING SHOW (K047): No report. PRECIOUS HILL (J475): After the event M L Yeung advised that with the horse stepping up to 1400 Metres today he was instructed to ride his mount with cover. SUNNY DARLING (J171): No report. ONLY U (J037): No report.
