HORSEPOWER (J431): Near the 150 Metres lay out and made contact with STAR PERFORMER which shifted in slightly. After the event, M Chadwick stated that whilst he was able to obtain cover during the race behind CIRCUIT JOLLY he was of the opinion that HORSEPOWER was disadvantaged by having no runner positioned to his inside as he believes HORSEPOWER races best when able to improve between runners as it did at its most recent start. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
PACKING BOLE (H246): Blundered on jumping.
FAST RESPONDER (J295): Jumped awkwardly. Near the 250 Metres became unbalanced when crowded for room between FLYING TING LOK and AURORA PATCH (M F Poon) which shifted out. M F Poon was reprimanded. In this incident FAST RESPONDER lay out and away from AURORA PATCH and contributed to the interference. When questioned regarding his riding in the early stages J Orman stated that he was instructed to ride his mount in a conservative manner in the early stages as FAST RESPONDER had not finished the race off when ridden on the pace at its last start. He said near the 700 Metres when positioned to the outside of FLYING TING LOK he allowed LA FORZA to cross his mount to comply with his instructions and also to provide FAST RESPONDER with a horse to follow into the race.
SUPER FORTUNE (G065): A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
LA FORZA (J285): Sent for sampling post-race.
MARVEL AND GOLD (K109): Shortly after the start raced tight between STAR PERFORMER and PACKING BOLE which shifted out. After the event, Y L Chung stated that his mount did not respond to his riding in the early stages and became detached from the field. He added that MARVEL AND GOLD would be suited by being stepped up in distance for its next race start. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
FLYING TING LOK (K228): No report.
STAR PERFORMER (K207): Jumped only fairly and then was crowded shortly after the start between MARVEL AND GOLD and AURORA PATCH which shifted in slightly. Bumped near the 150 Metres.
