HEALTHY HAPPY (D435): Sent for sampling post-race. CHIU CHOW SPIRIT (H175): No report. RAMADAN (K309): Jumped only fairly. After the event, H Bowman stated that his mount hung in under pressure in the Home Straight and responded only fairly to his riding. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. YOUNG CHAMPION (J195): Jumped only fairly. Sent for sampling post-race. DANCING CODE (G365): Approaching the 400 Metres was steadied and shifted to the outside of FLAMING RABBIT to obtain clear running. TOURBILLON PRINCE (H122): Near the 100 Metres became held up for clear running behind LADY’S CHOICE and could not be tested until the concluding stages. After the event, L Hewitson stated that the intention was to hold a more forward position if possible but not to pressure his mount to do so as it has previously been reported as a "roarer”. He said as a result when caught wide in the early stages he elected to ride his mount in a conservative manner in accordance with the instructions issued. OUTGATE (H113): No report. FLAMING RABBIT (H257): Lost its right front plate whilst proceeding to the Start. Was replated behind the starting gates, inspected by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race. After the event, Apprentice P N Wong stated that her instructions were to take up a forward position but FLAMING RABBIT did not show sufficient pace to cross runners to her inside which resulted in the horse racing wide and without cover for the majority of the event. She added under pressure in the Home Straight her mount did not respond to her riding and did not fully stretch out. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. LADY'S CHOICE (H155): No report. LOVERO (H451): After the 500 Metres lay in as it endeavoured to improve to the outside of DANCING CODE. LUCY IN THE SKY (J275): Raced keenly in the middle stages. Sent for sampling post-race.
