NIMBLE NIMBUS (E249): Held up making the Home Turn. Lay in in the Home Straight and near the 100 Metres raced in restricted room between WOODFIRE BRO and C P BRAVE which shifted in slightly. ENCOUNTERED (G236): After the event, K Teetan stated that his mount came under pressure making the Home Turn and then failed to respond to his riding in the Home Straight and was disappointing. Trainer D J Hall advised that ENCOUNTERED had pleased him leading into tonight’s event. He said ENCOUNTERED may not have been suited by racing in an on-pace position and may be suited by being stepped up in distance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. HELENE FEELING (H215): Approaching the finish shifted out and made contact with MOMENTS IN TIME. Sent for sampling post-race. MOMENTS IN TIME (H474): Close to the finish was bumped by HELENE FEELING which shifted out. Sent for sampling post-race. THE GOLDEN SCENERY (E379): After the event, B Avdulla reported that his instructions were to ride his mount conservatively in the early stages with cover. He said in the early stages THE GOLDEN SCENERY was caught wide and when racing keenly he allowed it to stride forward to obtain a position outside the lead to avoid covering additional ground. MR ASCENDENCY (G227): No report. C P BRAVE (E306): No report. SENOR TOBA (G103): Jumped only fairly. WOODFIRE BRO (G115): Passing the 100 Metres was bumped on the hindquarters by NIMBLE NIMBUS when that runner was racing tight to the inside of C P BRAVE.
