SWIFT ASCEND (H395): Sent for sampling post-race. GLORY ELITE (H311): No report. LUCY IN THE SKY (J275): No report. INVINCIBLE SHIELD (K168): Bumped at the start. Sent for sampling post-race. MATTERS MOST (K154): Jumped only fairly. Near the 1100 Metres and again near the 1000 Metres was corrected by its rider M F Poon when it shifted in towards ALSONSO. As a consequence MATTERS MOST raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. FRANCIS MEYNELL (J394): After the event, M Chadwick reported that his mount was disadvantaged by having to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event and as a consequence gave ground under pressure in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. I P O BROS (K193): Shifted in at the start and was bumped. RUN RUN SMART (K080): No report. AEROINVINCIBLE (J180): No report. ALSONSO (J405): Leaving the 1100 Metres was momentarily crowded by MATTERS MOST which shifted in before being corrected by its rider M F Poon. LIFELINE EXPRESS (H439): Sent for sampling post-race. FREE PONY (K229): After being placed into the barriers became fractious and struck its head on the front of the starting gates, resulting in it sustaining a laceration to the poll. Acting on veterinary advice that FREE PONY was not suitable to race, the horse was withdrawn by order of the Stewards. The barrier manners of FREE PONY were considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, FREE PONY will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. PRINCE OF PORTY (H009): Withdrawn on 15.2.25 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame right fore) and replaced by Standby Declared Starter MATTERS MOST. Before being allowed to race again, PRINCE OF PORTY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
