FRANCIS MEYNELL (J394): Lay out under pressure in the Home Straight. After the event, M Chadwick reported that from the outside barrier he was instructed to hold an on-pace position. He said when caught wide early he elected to continue forward to lead to avoid covering additional ground. Trainer W K Mo confirmed the instructions were to take up a forward position but not necessarily lead. He said FRANCIS MEYNELL jumped well today with the hood being removed from its gear.
PAKISTAN LEGACY (J363): Lay out near the 550 Metres. Sent for sampling post-race.
VON BAER (K198): Jumped awkwardly and lost ground.
RIGHTEOUS ARION (H059): Shifted in at the start, was bumped and became unbalanced. Near the 550 Metres was steadied away from CONSPIRATOR which was taken out. Raced very wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
SUPER LEGENDS (H364): Sent for sampling post-race.
SWAGGER BRO (K089): No report.
CONSPIRATOR (K090): Shortly after the start was tightened for room between MIGHTY STRIDE and RIGHTEOUS ARION which shifted in despite the efforts of its rider. After the event, L Hewitson reported that his mount raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. He said near the 550 Metres he was taken wider when LUCKY ARCHANGEL was taken out by PAKISTAN LEGACY. He said at this point CONSPIRATOR changed stride and came under pressure soon after before giving ground in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
SILK ROAD GLORY (J361): Jumped only fairly and shortly afterwards was crowded by AERIS NOVA which shifted in. Noted to have lost its left front plate after the race. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
LUCKY ARCHANGEL (E385): Taken out near the 550 Metres.
GAMEPLAYER ELITE (H356): Jumped awkwardly and shortly after the start was bumped. In the middle stages raced keenly and for some distance approaching the 600 Metres was steadied away from AERIS NOVA.
