CARROLL STREET (D489): Jumped only fairly.
YOUTHFUL SPIRITS (J082): When questioned regarding his riding from the 600 Metres and the reason his mount shifted in and away from the outside rail, L Ferraris stated that his instructions were to hold a forward position but not to make use of his mount to do so as YOUTHFUL SPIRITS had not finished its races off well at its previous starts. He said after sharing the lead in the early stages, from the 600 Metres he endeavoured to encourage his mount to change its lead leg as it was laying in. He added when YOUTHFUL SPIRITS failed to change its lead leg, it continued to lay in which resulted in it shifting in and away from the stand rail and allowing FAST NETWORK to improve to its outside. Having considered his evidence, the Stewards accepted the explanation provided by Jockey Ferraris.
ALPHA ONE (J435): After the event, M Chadwick stated that after holding an on-pace position, his mount was unable to finish the race off over the concluding stages when placed under pressure. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
STELLAR EXPRESS (J186): No report.
CANDLELIGHT DINNER (J468): No report.
FAST NETWORK (J358): Sent for sampling post-race.
MIDORI GLORY (J248): After the event, C Y Ho could offer no explanation for his mount’s failure to finish the race off over the concluding stages. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
HEROIC MASTER (G394): Sent for sampling post-race.
DASHING DRAGON (J464): Jumped awkwardly and lost ground.
KING PROFIT (J539): M L Yeung was fined the sum of $3,000 for initially weighing out with two girths and surcingles which required his saddle being returned from the saddling area in order for him to be re-weighed.
POLARIS (J404): Jumped only fairly.
SUPER FORTUNE (G065): No report.
MEGA BONUS (E184): A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
BABY CRYSTAL (H081): BABY CRYSTAL, Standby Declared Starter, was withdrawn on 16.11.24 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame right fore). Before being allowed to race again, BABY CRYSTAL will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
