MOMENTS IN TIME (H474): Near the 1200 Metres was steadied to avoid the heels of TELECOM FIGHTERS (Apprentice P N Wong) which shifted in when not fully clear. Apprentice Wong was advised to exercise more care. After the race, H Bowman reported that his mount did not feel right in its action in the early stages or the latter stages of the race and for this reason MOMENTS IN TIME was uncompetitive and tailed out. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of MOMENTS IN TIME was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, MOMENT IN TIME will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial around a bend in Hong Kong and be subjected to an official veterinary examination which must include additional diagnostic assessments. SWORD POINT (G448): Sent for sampling post-race. ALL FOR ST PAUL'S (C517): No report. TELECOM FIGHTERS (D482): No report. ADEFILL (G317): Sent for sampling post-race. THE BEST PEACH (H139): No report. CHILL CHIBI (H109): Approaching the turn near the 700 Metres was taken wider to a position three wide and without cover by CAPITAL DELIGHT which shifted out to gain a trailing position one-off the fence behind TURIN MASCOT. As a result, CHILL CHIBI raced three wide and without cover for the remainder of the event. BERLIN TANGO (E120): A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. KA YING GENERATION (J075): After the race, Z Purton reported that from a wide barrier his mount was unable to show sufficient speed to take up a more forward position. Trainer P C Ng confirmed that the pre-race plan was to endeavour to ride KA YING GENERATION in a midfield position, but given the quick tempo in the early stages, KA YING GENERATION was unable to show the necessary speed, particularly coming back in distance from 2400 Metres to 1650 Metres today. He also added it was the horse’s first start today on the All Weather track. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. RED HARE KING (H188): No report. CAPITAL DELIGHT (H262): Jumped awkwardly and lost ground. For some distance passing the 1200 Metres commenced to over-race when being restrained off the heels of BERLIN TANGO. Rounding the turn after the 400 Metres was held up for clear running and continued to have difficulty obtaining clear running for a major part of the Home Straight before shifting out near the 100 Metres. APACHE PASS (D433): Was a little slow to begin. TURIN MASCOT (H165): No report.
