CAP FERRAT (K021): On jumping was bumped by DILBAGH and became unbalanced. CAP FERRAT then shifted in and was bumped on the hindquarters by TOY SOLTERO. Between the 400 Metres and 300 Metres was held up for clear running behind AMAZING VICTORY. Sent for sampling post-race. LUPO SOLITARIO (J495): Shifted in on jumping and was bumped. C L Chau (GOLDEN ARTIE) pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding [Rule 100(1)] in that approaching the 1500 Metres he allowed his mount to shift in whilst riding it along, resulting in LUPO SOLITARIO losing its rightful running and being checked. C L Chau was suspended from riding in races for a period to commence on Wednesday, 1 January 2025 and to expire on Monday, 6 January 2025 on which day he may resume race riding (2 Hong Kong racedays). In assessing penalty, the Stewards determined the carelessness grade 2 and the consequences grade 2 and also considered his good race riding record. MICKLEY (K082): Near the 1500 Metres was hampered when taken wider by LUPO SOLITARIO. Sent for sampling post-race. SKY TRUST (J161): After the event, A Badel stated that after travelling well in the lead his mount gave ground over the final 200 Metres and was somewhat disappointing. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer” which had previously been reported. FALLON (H219): Jumped only fairly, shifted out and made contact with LO PAN SPIRIT. From a wide barrier was then shifted across behind runners in the early stages. SILVERY BREEZE (K057): No report. GOLDEN ARTIE (G434): C L Chau pleaded guilty to a careless riding charge for causing interference approaching the 1500 Metres (see LUPO SOLITARIO). LO PAN SPIRIT (J233): Bumped at the start. STELLAR SWIFT (J139): Crowded at the start. Near the 300 Metres was steadied to avoid GOLDEN ARTIE when that runner was taken out by CAP FERRAT (C Y Ho) which shifted out. C Y Ho was reprimanded. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. AMAZING VICTORY (G123): No report. PACKING TURBINE (J470): The Stewards acceded to an application from Z Purton to allow him to ride 2 lbs overweight. The explanation provided by Jockey Purton for the overweight was accepted by the Stewards. Public announcements were made to this effect. Sent for sampling post-race. TOY SOLTERO (J268): Jumped awkwardly, shifted out, made contact with CAP FERRAT and lost ground. DILBAGH (K055): Bumped at the start. S J TOURBILLON (G138): From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
