FIND MY LOVE (H110): Between the 400 Metres and the 300 Metres was held up for clear running behind SECOND TO NONE. MIGHTY STRIDE (G346): After the event, J McDonald stated that he was instructed to hold a more forward position than its previous race starts with the visor being applied for the first time. He said when unable to obtain a position close to the rail MIGHTY STRIDE was obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event. Trainer P F Yiu confirmed the instructions issued and attributed today’s performance to the fact that MIGHTY STRIDE was caught wide and without cover. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. PRESS LINK (K018): No report. KAHOLO ANGEL (H216): From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Lay in in the Home Straight. Sent for sampling post-race. TOURBILLON PRINCE (H122): Sent for sampling post-race. HUGE WAVE (J197): For a short distance approaching the 300 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when being shifted to the outside of TOURBILLON PRINCE. AURIO (K056): No report. FRANCIS MEYNELL (J394): On jumping was steadied when crowded by CHAMPION INSTINCT which shifted in abruptly despite the efforts of its rider. From the 600 Metres was taken wider by KAHOLO ANGEL when that runner shifted out to improve. FRANCIS MEYNELL then hung out making the Home Turn. LIGHT YEARS CHARM (K130): Slow to begin. From the 400 Metres until the 250 Metres was held up for clear running when being shifted to the outside of SOVEREIGN FUND. ARMOUR WAR EAGLE (J039): Blundered on jumping and lost ground. Sent for sampling post-race. HE WAS ME (J535): On jumping was taken out by SECOND TO NONE which shifted out. From the outside barrier was then shifted across behind runners in the early stages. SECOND TO NONE (H319): No report. SOVEREIGN FUND (J402): Between the 400 Metres and the 300 Metres was held up for clear running between CHAMPION INSTINCT and MIGHTY STRIDE. CHAMPION INSTINCT (H012): Shifted in on jumping and was bumped. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. After the event, A Badel stated that his mount raced "flat” today. After the race, it was noted that the horse had its tongue over the bit on return to the unsaddling area. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer”. PACKING POWER (J284): Withdrawn on 13.12.24 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (blood abnormality) and replaced by Standby Declared Starter FIND MY LOVE. Before being allowed to race again, PACKING POWER will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
