BIG RED (H299): Near the 50 Metres momentarily raced tight to the inside of KA YING POWER which shifted in and away from AFFIRM. BITS SUPERSTAR (J362): Shifted out abruptly at the start and was bumped on the hindquarters. Near the 150 Metres shifted out and away from FATAL BLOW after being taken out by that runner slightly and made contact with HAPPY SOUL and became unbalanced. FATAL BLOW (J484): After the event, L Ferraris reported that his mount was obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event and as a result was left without a finishing effort in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. BINGO BABE (K115): No report. HAPPY SOUL (G249): Jumped awkwardly. From a wide barrier was then shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Near the 500 Metres was steadied away from SIGHT HAPPY. Briefly held up on the Home Turn. Near the 250 Metres became held up for clear running behind BITS SUPERSTAR and shortly after was shifted to that runner’s outside to secure clear running. Near the 150 Metres then became unbalanced when crowded between SIGHT HAPPY and BITS SUPERSTAR which shifted out and away from FATAL BLOW. HAPPY TRIO (G244): Near the 550 Metres got its head up when being steadied away from VALHALLA. After the 250 Metres was disappointed for clear running between BITS SUPERSTAR and FATAL BLOW and did not obtain clear running until after the 50 Metres. KA YING POWER (H169): Jumped awkwardly, made contact with the right side of its barrier and lost ground. Made contact with the running rail after the 600 Metres. Near the 50 Metres shifted in and away from AFFIRM, resulting in its rider having to correct his mount. AFFIRM (H306): Sent for sampling post-race. RAGNARR (H297): From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Approaching the 500 Metres, when racing keenly, was steadied to avoid KA YING POWER. SIGHT HAPPY (J261): In the early stages raced keenly and after the 1000 Metres got its head up when being steadied away from HAPPY TRIO. Near the 850 Metres, when racing keenly, was steadied to avoid HAPPY TRIO (A Pouchin) which shifted in when not quite clear. A Pouchin was advised to exercise more care. Near the 500 Metres, when continuing to race keenly, got its head up when being steadied away from BITS SUPERSTAR. Sent for sampling post-race. VALHALLA (E495): No report. MIU FA FA (J145): Jumped only fairly and shortly after was checked when crowded between FATAL BLOW and BITS SUPERSTAR which shifted out abruptly. Near the 1000 Metres, when racing keenly, was steadied to avoid SIGHT HAPPY. MIU FA FA then continued to race keenly and near the 800 Metres shifted out and away from SIGHT HAPPY and as a result raced wide and without cover thereafter.
