MR ALADDIN (H386): Noted to have blood in the mouth on arrival at the Start, was examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race. Bumped at the start. After the event, A Pouchin reported that his mount, which was racing first up tonight over 2200 Metres, did not run out the distance of the race. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
SUPER HONG KONG (D241): From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
NICE BIRDIE (G470): No report.
FURY AND GOLD (H202): On jumping shifted in, made contact with MR ALADDIN, got its head up and lost ground. Held up for clear running making the Home Turn behind TIGER AND GOLD and after the 350 Metres was shifted to the inside of that runner to secure clear running. Noted to have sustained a cut to the right front leg after the race. Sent for sampling post-race.
GOLDEN FAIRY (E448): Sent for sampling post-race.
TIGER AND GOLD (J064): Bumped at the start. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer”.
