SUGAR SUGAR (G016): Shortly after the start was bumped and then from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. GUSTOSISIMO (J303): Bumped on jumping. Between the 300 Metres and the 200 Metres was held up for clear running between GIANT LEAP and LUCKY EIGHT. Over the final 100 Metres lay in when racing tight between LUCKY EIGHT and SUPER JOY N FUN. KYRUS DRAGON (H396): Jumped only fairly and was bumped shortly after the start. Sent for sampling post-race. SUPER JOY N FUN (J164): No report. CHATEAUNEUF (J219): Bumped on jumping. Between the 300 Metres and the 200 Metres was held up for clear running behind GIANT LEAP. After being shifted to the outside of GIANT LEAP, CHATEAUNEUF then became held up for clear running between the 150 Metres and the 100 Metres where it obtained a narrow run to the inside of LUCKY EIGHT. Sent for sampling post-race. LUCKY EIGHT (G204): When questioned, R Moore stated that over the concluding stages he had some concerns with the action of his mount and for this reason he did not fully ride it out to the finish of the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. DENFIELD (G471): When questioned, W Buick stated that in the Home Straight his mount felt awkward in its action when he placed it under pressure but finished the race off reasonably well. Notwithstanding this advice, W Buick was advised that, wherever possible, he should ensure that he continues to ride his mounts out to the finish of the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. AURORA LADY (J066): Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. Sent for sampling post-race. SPICY GOLD (H440): Over the final 300 Metres was held up and did not obtain clear running. GIANT LEAP (J143): After the event, Z Purton stated that, in his opinion, GIANT LEAP did not appreciate the step-up to Class 3. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. GOKO WIN (H069): Shortly after the start was bumped and became unbalanced. STORMING DRAGON (J237): No report.
