LOVERO (H451): After the event, H Bowman stated that although his mount jumped awkwardly, it was able to lead the event. He said in the Home Straight LOVERO did not respond to his riding and weakened over the concluding stages. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of LOVERO, a last start winner, was considered disappointing as compared to its last race start. Before being allowed to race again, LOVERO will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. SAMARKAND (H070): No report. M UNICORN (G466): Bumped shortly after the start. ROMANTIC LAOS (G476): Near the 900 Metres became unbalanced when bumped by COMET SPLENDIDO which shifted out slightly. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. SILO (J399): Sent for sampling post-race. DARING PURSUIT (G424): When questioned, R Moore stated that near the 50 Metres he felt his mount go amiss and eased it down from the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be lame in its right front leg. Before being allowed to race again, DARING PURSUIT will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. COMET SPLENDIDO (G071): Shortly after the start was crowded between SILO and M UNICORN. JUMBO LEGEND (G266): Jumped awkwardly and shortly after the start was checked when crowded by SUPER UNICORN which shifted out abruptly despite the efforts of its rider. After the race, C Y Ho reported that his mount made a respiratory noise during the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to have an epiglottic entrapment. NEVER TOO SOON (E434): Bumped shortly after the start. SUPER UNICORN (H481): Near the 300 Metres shifted out and made contact with DARING PURSUIT. SUPER UNICORN then lay out in the early part of the Home Straight and after being corrected by its rider shifted in towards SILO, resulting in its rider M Barzalona having to stop riding and straighten his mount near the 150 Metres. Noted to have sustained a small abrasion to the left hind pastern. Sent for sampling post-race. AESTHETICISM (H289): Shortly after the start was steadied when crowded between SOLEIL FIGHTER and NEVER TOO SOON. When finishing the race off well over the concluding stages raced in restricted room between SOLEIL FIGHTER and SILO. SOLEIL FIGHTER (J127): Sent for sampling post-race.
