KING ECCELLENTE (G264): Sent for sampling post-race. LYRICAL MOTION (G081): No report. AURORA LADY (J066): Sent for sampling post-race. GOLDEN RISE (H242): After the event, B Avdulla reported that approaching the 100 Metres his mount was held up for clear running between NEVER PETER OUT and SWEET DIAMOND which was giving ground and as a result was unable to be fully ridden out to the finish of the event. Noted to have lost its left front plate after the race. UNISON (H423): Bumped shortly after the start. YEE CHEONG SPIRIT (H379): From the outside barrier jumped awkwardly and then was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Over the final 200 Metres lay in. SWEET DIAMOND (G063): Jumped only fairly. Despite being ridden along in the early stages did not show sufficient pace to hold a more forward position. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. WORLD HERO (J413): No report. FORTUNE RACER (J234): Jumped only fairly. Making the Home Turn raced tight to the inside of WORLD HERO. SO TREASURE (H351): Near the 200 Metres shifted out and away from UNISON. After the event, L Ferraris and Trainer M Newnham confirmed that from a wide barrier the instructions were to ride SO TREASURE in a conservative manner in the early stages. NEVER PETER OUT (J200): Shifted out shortly after the start and was bumped. WOOD ON FIRE (C460): Jumped awkwardly and from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Near the 200 Metres was hampered when taken wider by SO TREASURE which shifted out and away from UNISON when that runner shifted out slightly. After the event, H T Mo reported that when the pace of the event was run inside of standard time in the early stages, he then elected to shift WOOD ON FIRE across behind runners in the early stages to avoid racing wide. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
