RUN RUN TIMING (H403): No report. FIGHTING MACHINE (J015): Rounding the Home Turn FIGHTING MACHINE improved into a narrow run between STARMEN and MIGHTY STRENGTH (A Hamelin) which was taken out slightly by SUPER INFINITY. As a result, FIGHTING MACHINE then raced tight between MIGHTY STRENGTH and STARMEN for some distance approaching the 400 Metres. Near the 350 Metres FIGHTING MACHINE then was checked when crowded between STARMEN which raced tight to the inside of CIRCUIT MIGHTY and MIGHTY STRENGTH which shifted out slightly. After considering the incident in its totality, the Stewards reprimanded A Hamelin for allowing his mount to shift out slightly which contributed to the interference to FIGHTING MACHINE. SUPER INFINITY (J320): Approaching the 200 Metres was directed to the outside of RUN RUN TIMING to obtain clear running. Sent for sampling post-race. GOLDEN BULL (H019): A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer” which had previously been reported. SMASHING EXPRESS (J252): Jumped only fairly and then was crowded shortly after the start. ALWAYS FLUKE (H252): A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. MIGHTY STRENGTH (H450): Jumped only fairly. Leaving the 200 Metres was brushed by CIRCUIT MIGHTY which shifted in slightly. Sent for sampling post-race. STARMEN (J199): Near the 350 Metres was bumped heavily on the hindquarters and then was checked to avoid CIRCUIT MIGHTY. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. CIRCUIT MIGHTY (G078): Sent for sampling post-race. FIREFOOT (J183): Jumped only fairly. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. HAPPYDEARHAPPYDEER (J002): Slow to begin. CALL ME SUPREME (J202): From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. VERBIER (J187): From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. SPEEDY CHARIOT (H193): After the race, A Atzeni reported that from the outside barrier he was asked to take up a forward position. Trainer D J Whyte confirmed the instructions and stated that he issued such instructions as SPEEDY CHARIOT had been racing in a disappointing manner by being ridden conservatively in the early stages.
