RED HARE KING (H188): Sent for sampling post-race. IVY LEAGUE (H116): Jumped only fairly and from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. NEVER TOO SOON (E434): Held up for clear running approaching the 300 Metres. After the 100 Metres was shifted to the inside of SATIRICAL FAN to continue into clear running. After the race, B Avdulla reported that passing the 1500 Metres he felt his mount may have been galloped on when it changed action at that point. After the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that NEVER TOO SOON was lame in its right front leg and had sustained lacerations to both hind legs. Before being allowed to race again, NEVER TOO SOON will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. Also noted to have lost its right hind plate after the race. ROMANTIC LAOS (G476): Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. BEAUTY INFINITY (H377): After the race, Z Purton stated that his instructions from a wide barrier were to ride his mount in a conservative manner in the early stages. He said whilst complying with his instructions, BEAUTY INFINITY raced keenly in the early stages. He added that with the pace of the event run outside of standard time during the early stages, BEAUTY INFINITY was unable to run on in the Home Straight. Trainer J Size confirmed the instructions issued. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. STAR CONTACT (E472): No report. GLORIOUS JOURNEY (J137): No report. SATIRICAL FAN (J214): Near the 50 Metres was steadied when crowded between RED HARE KING which shifted in slightly and AESTHETICISM (L Hewitson) which shifted out before being straightened by its rider. L Hewitson was advised to exercise more care in similar circumstances and told that he would be expected to straighten his mounts sooner than what he did on this occasion. AESTHETICISM (H289): From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Shifted out near the 50 Metres and was bumped. Sent for sampling post-race. WINNING DATA (H230): Bumped near the 250 Metres. Near the 150 Metres was steadied to avoid RED HARE KING (H Bowman) which shifted in when not quite clear. H Bowman was advised to exercise more care. JUMBO LEGEND (G266): No report. SWEET BRIAR (H044): Near the 250 Metres improved into a narrow run between WINNING DATA and SATIRICAL FAN (Y L Chung) and a short distance later was steadied when crowded by SATIRICAL FAN which shifted out before being corrected by its rider. Y L Chung was reprimanded. Over the concluding stages was held up behind SATIRICAL FAN and could not be ridden out to the finish of the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. BIG RED (H299): Withdrawn on 11.6.24 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (left front ligament injury) and replaced by Standby Declared Starter SWEET BRIAR. Before being allowed to race again, BIG RED will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
