RAGING BLIZZARD (H368): Sent for sampling post-race. SUGAR SUGAR (G016): Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. WATCH BUDDY (H185): After the race, Apprentice Y L Chung stated that his mount initially responded to his riding in the early part of the Home Straight but did not finish the race off strongly and may not have backed up from its last start on 6 March 2024. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. VIVA GRACIOUSNESS (J079): When questioned, B Avdulla stated that his instructions were to endeavour to be positive from his wide barrier. He said VIVA GRACIOUSNESS jumped only fairly, shifted in shortly after the start and bumped with DENFIELD. He said VIVA GRACIOUSNESS then raced tight to the inside of DENFIELD and as a consequence he elected to shift his mount across behind runners in the early stages to avoid racing wide. SUPERSONIC (J192): No report. MA COMET (H391): In the early stages raced keenly and ran wide making the first turn near the 1000 Metres. CAPTAIN WIN (E466): Sent for sampling post-race. DENFIELD (G471): Shortly after the start was bumped by VIVA GRACIOUSNESS which shifted in. After the race, K De Melo stated that after being bumped shortly after the start DENFIELD became unbalanced and as a result he allowed his mount to settle behind runners in the early stages. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. KYRUS DRAGON (H396): Slow to begin. After the 250 Metres improved into a narrow run between SUPERSONIC and WATCH BUDDY and had difficulty obtaining clear running until near the 100 Metres.
