PRIME MINISTER (D288): Near the 300 Metres was held up between E LEGEND and ALL IS GOOD which was giving ground. Over the final 200 Metres lay in. Over the concluding stages could not be ridden out when crowded between E LEGEND and STORM LEGEND, both of which shifted ground slightly. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
OUTGATE (H113): No report.
ALL IS GOOD (G269): When questioned, Z Purton stated that whilst he had not specifically expected to lead tonight, he was obliged to go forward and lead when caught wide early. He said ALL IS GOOD came under pressure near the 800 Metres and in the Home Straight shifted ground and also weakened. Assistant Trainer S K Sit stated that ALL IS GOOD had pleased the stable leading into tonight’s race and he could offer no explanation for the disappointing performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of ALL IS GOOD, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, ALL IS GOOD will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. Noted to have lost its right front plate after the race.

Approaching the 250 Metres improved into a run between STORM LEGEND and PRIME MINISTER and then raced tight between those two runners for some distance thereafter. Then continued to race tight to the inside of PRIME MINISTER which lay in and as a result near the 100 Metres was shifted to the outside of PRIME MINISTER to secure clear running.
RED MAJESTY (E028): Crowded at the start. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
EIGHTEEN PALMS (H033): After the race, C Y Ho reported that his mount was obliged to race wide and at various stages did not have cover. He added that as a result EIGHTEEN PALMS was unable to finish the race off strongly. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Before being allowed to race again, EIGHTEEN PALMS will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
