BON’S A PEARLA jumped awkwardly and then was crowded between ALL IS GOOD and PRECISE EXPRESS.
CAPITAL LEGEND also jumped awkwardly.
For some distance approaching the 600 Metres, PRECISE EXPRESS raced tight to the inside of CHARITY BINGO.
Over the final 150 Metres, PRECISE EXPRESS raced tight between BON’S A PEARLA and TEMPEST EXPRESS and as a result had some difficulty securing clear running.
TEMPEST EXPRESS raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
After the race, H Bowman (CHARITY BINGO) stated that his mount raced keenly in the middle stages and as a result did not finish the race off as well as expected. A veterinary inspection of CHARITY BINGO immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Also after the race, C L Chau (BON’S A PEARLA) reported that his mount would derive benefit from today’s performance. A veterinary inspection of BON’S A PEARLA immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Following the race, L Hewitson (BIG RED) reported that his instructions were, from a wide barrier, to ride his mount conservatively in the early stages to allow it the best opportunity to run on in the Home Straight.
A veterinary inspection of CAPITAL LEGEND immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
ALL IS GOOD and BIG RED were sent for sampling.
