After the race, Apprentice E C W Wong (KARMA) reported that his mount failed to travel strongly at any stage of the event and could offer no explanation for its performance. A veterinary inspection of KARMA immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Also after the race, L Hewitson (SUPER FAST DRAGON) stated that his mount raced without cover and as a result did not finish the race off strongly. A veterinary inspection of SUPER FAST DRAGON immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer”.
A veterinary inspection of SPARKLING DOLPHIN immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
