HO HO KHAN shifted out at the start and bumped ZILONG. HELENE CHARISMA was slow to begin. FAMOUS WARRIOR and SLEEP EDUCATION bumped at the start. From the outside barrier, HO HO FEEL was steadied in the early stages and shifted across behind runners. Making the turn near the 600 Metres, HELENE CHARISMA was steadied away from the heels of HO HO KHAN. Rounding the Home Turn, HO HO KHAN was awkwardly placed close to the heels of ENFOLDING and tight inside FAMOUS WARRIOR as ENFOLDING commenced to give ground. In this incident, FAMOUS WARRIOR became unbalanced when bumped by HO HO KHAN. HO HO KHAN was then shifted to the inside of ENFOLDING at the entrance to the Straight to obtain clear running. The performance of ENFOLDING, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, ENFOLDING will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. Passing the 250 Metres, HO HO FEEL was shifted out away from the heels of IRISH VEGA to continue improving. HO HO FEEL was then awkwardly placed outside IRISH VEGA passing the 200 Metres as that horse shifted out away from HELENE CHARISMA which improved into tight running between IRISH VEGA and LUCKY GIRL. Passing the 50 Metres, HO HO FEEL raced in restricted room between HELENE CHARISMA and FAMOUS WARRIOR which was then directed out away from HO HO FEEL. After the race, K Teetan stated that WILLIE WAY did not travel as well as it did first up this season when the horse was successful. He said on that occasion, when racing fresh, WILLIE WAY was able to finish off the race strongly after travelling well throughout the race. A veterinary inspection of WILLIE WAY immediately following the race found that horse to have sustained a small cut to the left hind cannon. The performance of WILLIE WAY, a last start winner and which finished towards the rear of the field, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, WILLIE WAY will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. The Veterinary Officer reported that BANK ON RED was distressed after the race. Before being allowed to race again, BANK ON RED will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. A veterinary inspection of SLEEP EDUCATION and ENFOLDING immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. HO HO KHAN and NEW ELEGANCE were sent for sampling.
