Just prior to the start being effected, CHANS DELIGHT turned its head to the left. CHANS DELIGHT was consequently slow to begin and travelled wide and without cover throughout the race. ABLE TALENT began only fairly and shortly after the start was crowded for room between TELECOM BOOM and RICHCITY FORTUNE which shifted in. OPTIMISM and INTELLECTUAL GLIDE were badly crowded for room on jumping between SIR JOHN and PERFECT SMART which, despite the efforts of its rider, got its head on the side and shifted in abruptly for some distance after the start. OPTIMISM lay out making the turn after the 1000 Metres. After the 400 Metres, ABLE TALENT was momentarily crowded for room between TELECOM BOOM and CHANS DELIGHT which shifted in marginally. Near the 150 Metres, SIR JOHN and RICHCITY FORTUNE raced tight. TREASURE AND GOLD travelled wide and without cover throughout the race. TREASURE AND GOLD, INVISIBLE and FOREVER FUN were sent for sampling.
