LITTLE DREAMS and FAT CHOY ICHIBAN were slow to begin. Approaching the 1100 Metres, SHINING VICTORY shifted in and bumped DREAM TEAM when steadied away from the heels of QUICK TOUCH (W M Lai) which shifted in when not properly clear. W M Lai was advised to exercise care. At the 1000 Metres, TUSCAN SPIRIT proved difficult to settle and got its head up when checked away from the heels of CERISE CHEERY. After the 800 Metres, YUE LU TREASURE was left racing wide and without cover. Passing the 200 Metres, SHINING VICTORY was steadied away from the heels of AMIGO (J Lloyd) which shifted in when not quite clear. J Lloyd was advised to exercise due care in similar circumstances in future. Over the final 200 Metres, C W Wong had difficulty fully riding out YUE LU TREASURE with the whip due to JACKPOT DELIGHT shifting ground outwards to his inside. In the Straight, JACKPOT DELIGHT hung in. CERISE CHERRY, BLUE SKY and CHATER WAY were sent for sampling.
