LEGION OF MERIT (D419): For some distance after the 400 Metres raced tight to the inside of PRECISION GOAL as that runner commenced to give ground and was also positioned tight to the inside of ANGELS HUNTER which lay in despite the efforts of its rider. NINJA DERBY (H339): From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Near the 400 Metres shifted out to improve and was bumped. M M NEBULA (G279): Approaching the 700 Metres was bumped by SUPERB MOVE and became unbalanced. As a result, M M NEBULA raced wide and without cover thereafter. After the race, Z Purton stated that his mount, in his opinion, did not run out a strong 1800 Metres. Trainer P C Ng stated that with the early stages of the event being run inside of standard time, M M NEBULA was not provided with the opportunity to travel comfortably. He stated that, in his opinion, M M NEBULA was also disadvantaged when being bumped by SUPERB MOVE approaching the 700 Metres and as a result was unable to finish the race off. He added however he would now drop M M NEBULA back in distance for its next race start on the All Weather surface. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Sent for sampling post-race. NICE BIRDIE (G470): Jumped only fairly. Sent for sampling post-race. HAPPY HERO (G322): Approaching the 1500 Metres was steadied to avoid SUPERB MOVE (Apprentice E C W Wong) which shifted in when not clear. Apprentice Wong was advised to exercise more care. Approaching the 700 Metres was steadied away from M M NEBULA. SUPERB MOVE (G304): When questioned, Apprentice E C W Wong stated that in the middle stages when the pace of the event eased slightly, SUPERB MOVE commenced to race keenly. He said approaching the 800 Metres SUPERB MOVE became awkwardly placed behind SUPER HORNET and when he was unable to sufficiently restrain his mount to avoid that runner’s heels, it shifted to the outside of SUPER HORNET and as a result made contact with M M NEBULA, resulting in SUPERB MOVE becoming unbalanced. He added that on the Home Turn he was then held up for clear running behind ANGELS HUNTER and did not obtain clear running until after the 300 Metres when he improved between M M NEBULA and JOYFUL CHAMPION. LEATHER MASTER (H034): From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Near the 400 Metres was bumped by NINJA DERBY which shifted out to improve and as a result was taken wider. PRECISION GOAL (H016): After the race, B Avdulla stated that from a wide barrier he was obliged to make use of his mount in the early stages to go forward to avoid racing wide. He said as a result PRECISION GOAL was left without a finishing effort in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. ANGELS HUNTER (G193): After the race, K De Melo expressed concern with his mount’s action in the Home Straight. The Veterinary Officer reported that ANGELS HUNTER was found to be distressed. Before being allowed to race again, ANGELS HUNTER will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. BROTHER PEARL (H030): From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. From the 450 Metres until the 300 Metres was held up for clear running. GREEN LASER (E409): No report. JOYFUL CHAMPION (G072): Jumped awkwardly. Sent for sampling post-race. SUPER HORNET (G043): A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. MISTER ARM (D491): No report.

SPANGLE FORTUNE (G427): No report. SUPER AXIOM (E105): No report. BEAU GOSSE (G389): From the 750 Metres raced wide and without cover and lay out on the Home Turn. Over the concluding stages could not be fully ridden out when racing tight between DAILY TROPHY and SUPER JOY. HO HO STAR (H291): Making the turn near the 600 Metres hung out and made contact with DOUBLE SHOW, resulting in HO HO STAR becoming unbalanced. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. YEABOI (G372): A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. HAPPY TANGO (D075): No report. DAILY TROPHY (H283): Jumped only fairly, shifted in and was bumped. Sent for sampling post-race. DOUBLE SHOW (G250): Slow to begin. After the race, L Ferraris reported that after being bumped and taken wider by HO HO STAR near the 600 Metres DOUBLE SHOW then failed to finish the race off from that point. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. PRESTIGE MOOCHI (H314): No report. SUPER JOY (G251): Slow to begin. Sent for sampling post-race. ALL IS READY (G042): After the race, K C Leung reported that near the 300 Metres his mount was brushed by SUPER JOY when that runner shifted out and from there on did not finish the race off. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. NOIR RIDER (E138): No report.

VALHALLA (E495): No report. MAGIC SUPREME (D144): No report. MUST GO (J133): Sent for sampling post-race. SPICY SPANGLE (J087): Jumped awkwardly and then from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. After the 700 Metres commenced to race keenly and was steadied to avoid MUST GO. VANTASTIC CHOICE (G401): Sent for sampling post-race. SERGEANT PEPPER (E432): Near the 700 Metres got its head up when momentarily crowded between STRIVE FOR GLORY and VANTASTIC CHOICE which lay out. After the race, H Bowman reported that his mount raced keenly in the middle stages and as a result was left without a finishing effort in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. STRIVE FOR GLORY (D186): Shortly after the start blundered, resulting in both STRIVE FOR GLORY and L Ferraris becoming unbalanced. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. After the race, L Ferraris reported that he was requested to ensure that STRIVE FOR GLORY jumped well. He added that after STRIVE FOR GLORY commenced well, he allowed it to take up a more forward position. Trainer W Y So confirmed the instructions issued. RUNNING BOY (J041): Slow to begin. HICKORY VICTORY (H370): The performance of HICKORY VICTORY, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, HICKORY VICTORY will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. ACA POWER (E144): When caught wide and without cover in the early stages was restrained where it obtained cover near the 800 Metres. Sent for sampling post-race. COOL BLUE (H011): No report. HINOKAMI KAGURA (H384): Withdrawn prior to Race 1 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (skin condition). Before being allowed to race again, HINOKAMI KAGURA will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. SOLAR UP (J134): Withdrawn on 2.4.24 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame left fore) and replaced by Standby Declared Starter VALHALLA. Before being allowed to race again, SOLAR UP will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

MONTA FRUTTA (H455): Sent for sampling post-race. SOLID SHALAA (H228): Shifted in on jumping, was bumped on the hindquarters and became unbalanced. Making the turn after the 700 Metres raced tight to the inside of JOLLY COMPANION. Sent for sampling post-race. FLYING DRAGON (E360): Jumped only fairly and then was hampered when crowded between NEW POWER and ROBOT KNIGHT which shifted in despite the efforts of its rider. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. DIAMOND FLARE (H224): Sent for sampling post-race. JOLLY COMPANION (H454): No report. RACINGRACE (J102): Blundered at the start and became unbalanced. ROBOT KNIGHT (H464): No report. SAVVY ELEGANCE (J068): Jumped awkwardly and then was crowded shortly after the start. Near the 700 Metres when racing tight to the inside of MONTA FRUTTA shifted out when reluctant to hold its position and was steadied to avoid that runner, resulting in SAVVY ELEGANCE losing ground. BEAUTY DESTINY (H281): Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. After the race, Z Purton could offer no excuse for his mount’s failure to run on in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. HIGH RISE POWER (H353): A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. MANYTHANKS FOREVER (J065): Jumped awkwardly. NEW POWER (H325): Near the 700 Metres was steadied when being crossed by RACINGRACE (A Badel) which shifted in when not quite clear. A Badel was advised to ensure that he is sufficiently clear when shifting ground.

SEASONS WIT (H223): Jumped awkwardly. PING HAI GALAXY (C377): A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. BUNDLE OF CHARM (G213): Sent for sampling post-race. GUMMY GUMMY (H089): Sent for sampling post-race. XPONENTIAL (D049): After the race, L Ferraris reported that when he felt there may have been something amiss with his mount in the Home Straight, he eased it down over the final 200 Metres when not in a competitive position. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Before being allowed to race again, XPONENTIAL will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. WONDER KIT (G455): Sent for sampling post-race. MAGNIAC (H141): No report. WINNING ICEY (G246): Jumped only fairly. Approaching the 700 Metres when racing keenly was steadied when allowing BUNDLE OF CHARM to cross. YOUTHFUL DEAL (G340): Bumped at the start. After the race, H Bowman could offer no explanation for his mount’s failure to run on in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. VICTORY MOMENTS (H142): Sent for sampling post-race. TORONADO PHANTOM (E300): From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. After the race, B Avdulla reported that his mount did not travel well throughout the event and finished the race off only fairly. He added that TORONADO PHANTOM raced "flat” tonight which, in his opinion, may have been due to the quick backup after racing on 24 March 2024. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. VIVA CHALEUR (G368): After the race, M F Poon reported that from the inside barrier VIVA CHALEUR commenced well and was able to take up a forward position without having to be ridden along to do so. SING DRAGON (J141): Sent for sampling post-race. CAMPIONE (G235): No report. LIGHTNING BOLT (G130): No report. SKY FOREVER (E414): No report. FORTUNE WHISKEY (J153): Jumped awkwardly and lost ground. After the race, M L Yeung reported that his mount failed to travel at any stage of the event and when he felt that there may have been something amiss with it in the Home Straight, he eased it down from the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of FORTUNE WHISKEY, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, FORTUNE WHISKEY will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. SELF IMPROVEMENT (H337): Jumped only fairly and then was bumped by YOUTHFUL DEAL which shifted out.

HAKKA RADIANCE (J105): Approaching the 700 Metres was steadied to avoid CORDYCEPS ONE (Apprentice Y L Chung) which shifted out to improve to the outside of I KEEP WINNING. Apprentice Chung was advised to exercise more care. Approaching the 200 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when positioned behind MAYHEM and near the 200 Metres bumped with PANDA LEGEND. GALVANIC (H147): Making the Home Turn raced tight between MAYHEM and PANDA LEGEND and then after the 400 Metres was shifted to the outside of MAYHEM to secure clear running. Sent for sampling post-race. VIVA HUNTER (E369): Bumped at the start. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. I KEEP WINNING (H400): Bumped at the start. The performance of I KEEP WINNING, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. As this was the second consecutive occasion that I KEEP WINNING had finished tailed out, the horse will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in consecutive barrier trials and be subjected to an official veterinary examination which must include additional diagnostic assessments. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. MISSION BRAVO (E383): When questioned, L Ferraris stated that his mount was reluctant to jump from the starting gates and as a result missed the start. He said after settling back in the field, he was obliged to make use of MISSION BRAVO throughout the early and middle stages to hold his position. He added although MISSION BRAVO raced tight to the inside of THE CONCENTRATION near the 200 Metres, it finished the race off in a disappointing manner. Assistant Trainer Y H Wong advised that MISSION BRAVO had pleased the stable coming into the event and that the stable was not able to offer any reason as to why the horse was slow to begin at its recent race starts. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The barrier manners and performance of MISSION BRAVO were considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, MISSION BRAVO will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination which must include additional diagnostic assessments. Sent for sampling post-race. PANDA LEGEND (H002): Near the 200 Metres was bumped by HAKKA RADIANCE which shifted to the inside of MAYHEM. CORDYCEPS ONE (E107): After the race, Apprentice Y L Chung stated that he was obliged to make use of his mount in the early stages to hold a forward position. He said in addition he was also forced to make a run three wide from the 700 Metres when positioned behind I KEEP WINNING and THE CONCENTRATION due to those runners not improving into the race and as a result CORDYCEPS ONE was left vulnerable late in the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. FAST VICTORY (H393): Held up for clear running near the 450 Metres. TRIUMPHANT WARRIOR (H430): Raced keenly in the middle stages and near the 700 Metres was shifted to the outside of MAYHEM and then raced wide and without cover thereafter. MAYHEM (H226): Near the 700 Metres was steadied to avoid HAKKA RADIANCE. STARSHIP EIGHTY (H022): From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. FOREVER FOLKS (G463): Jumped only fairly and then was crowded shortly after the start when GALVANIC shifted out. Sent for sampling post-race. SUN OF MAKFI (D157): No report. THE CONCENTRATION (H465): When giving ground approaching the 200 Metres was steadied when crowded between MISSION BRAVO and STARSHIP EIGHTY which shifted in slightly. After the race, H T Mo reported that from the inside barrier carrying a light weight of 117 lbs, he was instructed to take advantage of those two factors and hold a forward position. Trainer P F Yiu confirmed the instructions and the reasons as to why he issued such instructions. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

NORDIC DRAGON (G467): From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. In the middle stages raced keenly. After improving to the inside of ADEFILL (H Bowman) in the middle stages, NORDIC DRAGON was then steadied at the 700 Metres when crowded by ADEFILL which shifted in before being corrected by its rider. H Bowman was reprimanded. When questioned regarding his riding on the Home Turn, Apprentice E C W Wong stated that after following BERLIN TANGO, when that runner shifted out approaching the 400 Metres, he elected to improve to the inside of BERLIN TANGO. He added that after being able to ride his mount along in the early part of the Home Straight, near the 200 Metres he became held up behind MASSIVE ACTION and was then shifted to that runner’s outside to improve where it obtained clear running approaching the 150 Metres. He further stated that again near the 100 Metres he was obliged to shift to the outside of TOURBILLON PRINCE to continue into clear running. ALACRITY (H210): From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. APACHE PASS (D433): Over the concluding stages raced in restricted room between ADEFILL and TURIN MASCOT which shifted out. ADEFILL (G317): Sent for sampling post-race. BERLIN TANGO (E120): No report. YELLOWFIN (G326): No report. TURIN MASCOT (H165): On jumping was badly crowded between MAJESTIC COLOUR and MASSIVE ACTION, both of which shifted ground, resulting in TURIN MASCOT becoming unbalanced. Sent for sampling post-race. SO WE JOY (D082): Over the concluding stages had some difficulty obtaining clear running when positioned close to APACHE PASS. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. TOURBILLON PRINCE (H122): A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer” which had previously been reported. MAJESTIC COLOUR (H124): Bumped at the start. FIERY DIAMOND (G022): After the race, K De Melo expressed concern with his mount’s action. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Before being allowed to race again, FIERY DIAMOND will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. M UNICORN (G466): From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Sent for sampling post-race. MASSIVE ACTION (E445): Bumped at the start.
