SUPER GLORY (J025): After the event, L Hewitson reported that after leading in the early stages SUPER GLORY failed to respond to his riding in the Home Straight and raced in a disappointing manner. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. FLYING ROMANTIC (J057): Bumped at the start. INVINCIBLE MISSILE (C037): From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Sent for sampling post-race. MANYTHANKS FOREVER (J065): Shifted out at the start and was bumped. Shortly after the start was bumped on the hindquarters and became unbalanced. WINNING SEVEN (J005): On jumping was bumped by MANYTHANKS FOREVER which shifted out. After travelling a short distance was steadied when crowded by FLYING ROMANTIC which shifted in after making contact with COOL BLUE. Approaching the 300 Metres was contacted on the hindquarters by KASA PAPA (H Bowman) when that runner shifted out slightly to improve. H Bowman was advised to exercise more care. COOL BLUE (H011): Bumped at the start. Near the 200 Metres was briefly held up for clear running behind SUPERB MOVE. RED MAVERICK (J067): After the event, K Teetan reported that his instructions were to endeavour to obtain a midfield position. He said when RED MAVERICK commenced well, he was obliged to allow it to stride forward but the horse raced keenly when positioned outside the lead in the early stages. He said as a consequence RED MAVERICK did not finish the race off in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. Before being allowed to race again, RED MAVERICK will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. SUPERB MOVE (G304): Shortly after the start was bumped by SUNNY SHINES which shifted out and away from SUPER GLORY. Near the 1400 Metres was bumped by THE AZURE which shifted in. Approaching the 200 Metres raced in restricted room between THE AZURE and MANYTHANKS FOREVER which shifted out slightly. Over the concluding stages could not be ridden out when racing tight between MANYTHANKS FOREVER and COOL BLUE. SUNNY SHINES (H484): Jumped only fairly. Between the 300 Metres and the 150 Metres was held up for clear running behind SUPER GLORY. After the event, M F Poon stated that after being held up in the early part of the Home Straight SUNNY SHINES lost momentum and as a consequence did not finish the race off thereafter. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. IVICTORIAM (J226): Withdrawn on 3.12.24 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (fever). Before being allowed to race again, IVICTORIAM will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

EVER SMART (J179): Approaching the 1000 Metres lay in and away from ALLOY KING as that runner shifted in. Sent for sampling post-race. FAIRY HORSE (J144): FAIRY HORSE, which was fractious in the barriers, jumped only fairly. After the event, H Bowman reported that after beginning only fairly, his mount then commenced to race keenly and making the first turn was checked away from WINNING HEART. He said as a consequence FAIRY HORSE finished the race off only fairly in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. WINNING HEART (H065): Sent for sampling post-race. GOOD VIEW GLORY (H154): Bumped on jumping. Sent for sampling post-race. SUPER EAGLE (G408): On jumping bounded and became badly unbalanced, resulting in its rider K Teetan almost being dislodged and his right foot being displaced from his stirrup for a short distance and SUPER EAGLE losing ground. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. TATTENHAM (H121): Jumped awkwardly. MULTIDARLING (H148): No report. SPEEDY CHARIOT (H193): Shifted out at the start and was bumped. Raced wide and without cover from the 600 Metres. LAPRAS (H374): When under pressure in the Home Straight lay in. HAPPY UNIVERSE (J533): Slow to begin. LUCKY TOUCH (J203): In the early stages raced keenly when being steadied to obtain cover behind MIGHTY STRENGTH. When questioned regarding his riding, Z Purton stated that after following MIGHTY STRENGTH in the event, when that runner shifted out approaching the 450 Metres he elected to improve to its inside to obtain clear running. He said after being briefly held up on the Home Turn he was able to place his mount under full pressure on straightening where LUCKY TOUCH ran on well. Sent for sampling post-race. MIGHTY STRENGTH (H450): Jumped awkwardly, shifted out a short distance later and made contact with DURHAM STAR. CORLEONE (J426): Sent for sampling post-race. HAILTOTHEVICTORS (J508): Jumped only fairly and from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. After the event, C Y Ho reported that his mount is still immature and finished the race off in a one-paced manner and, in his opinion, would be suited by being stepped up in distance for its next race start. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. DURHAM STAR (E082): Bumped shortly after the start. On the Home Turn was steadied when momentarily crowded by LUCKY TOUCH which shifted to the inside of ORIENTAL TYCOON to obtain clear running. ORIENTAL TYCOON (J112): The performance of ORIENTAL TYCOON, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, ORIENTAL TYCOON will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. VIVA HUNTER (E369): No report. YEAH BUDDY (J430): Trainer W K Mo confirmed the instructions were to ride the horse in a midfield position as YEAH BUDDY had been racing keenly when ridden forward at its previous race starts. CALIFORNIA MOXIE (J131): After the event, Y L Chung stated that the instructions were to ride his mount with cover in the early stages. He said when CALIFORNIA MOXIE was caught wide, he elected to allow his mount to stride forward to avoid racing wide and without cover and was able to obtain a position outside the lead after the 600 Metres. STAR LINE (J110): No report. YOUTH POWER (H358): Sent for sampling post-race.

SERGEANT PEPPER (E432): Near the 550 Metres was steadied when it improved close to LEAN MASTER. When questioned regarding the improved performance, Trainer Y S Tsui stated that SERGEANT PEPPER had trialed well on 26 November 2024 after its last start. He said he attributed tonight’s improved performance to SERGEANT PEPPER being down in grade and racing over its preferred distance of 1000 Metres. Sent for sampling post-race. GRAND NOVA (J323): Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. LEAN MASTER (H134): Sent for sampling post-race. CHAMPION METHOD (H366): For some distance approaching the 100 Metres was held up when disappointed for clear running. After the race, an endoscopic examination was conducted on CHAMPION METHOD at the request of Trainer C S Shum. The Veterinary Surgeon said this examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. Before being allowed to race again, CHAMPION METHOD will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. Noted to have lost its left hind plate after the race. SPICY SPANGLE (J087): No report. CIRCUS REEL (J274): From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. NOTTHESILLYONE (J383): A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. CIRCUIT SEVEN (D474): A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. SIGHT HAPPY (J261): Jumped only fairly, shifted out and made contact with SUPER SIXTY. When commencing to finish the race off over the concluding stages was unable to be tested when held up between SILVER SPURS and SUPER SIXTY. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. PARENTS' LOVE (H405): Sent for sampling post-race. SILVER SPURS (J043): Approaching the 100 Metres endeavoured to obtain a tight run between LEAN MASTER and SPICY SPANGLE and in this incident made contact with CHAMPION METHOD which was endeavouring to obtain the same run. SUPER SIXTY (J071): Crowded at the start between SILVER SPURS and SIGHT HAPPY which shifted out.

SURE JOYFUL (G125): Bumped on jumping. FOREVER GLORIOUS (G229): Sent for sampling post-race. VIVA CHALEUR (G368): No report. JUMBO FORTUNE (G195): Sent for sampling post-race. CAN'T GO WONG (H087): Bumped on jumping. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. PRINCE ALEX (G307): Sent for sampling post-race. SIXTH GENERATION (G120): Shortly after the start was steadied when crowded between LUCKY BANNER and CHATER GOLD, both of which shifted ground. In this incident, SIXTH GENERATION blundered and lost ground. LUCKY BANNER (G354): Shortly after the start was bumped on the hindquarters and became unbalanced. C Y Ho was found guilty of a careless riding charge for causing interference approaching the first turn (see GOLDEN DARCI). After the event, C Y Ho stated that his mount raced keenly in the early stages when positioned outside the lead but settled entering the Back Straight. He said from this point LUCKY BANNER did not travel well and gave ground in the Home Straight. CHARMING STEED (E494): After the event, Z Purton could offer no explanation for his mount’s disappointing performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. CHATER GOLD (J004): Shifted in on jumping and was bumped shortly after the start. Near the 50 Metres shifted in towards SURE JOYFUL and was steadied when SURE JOYFUL shifted out slightly. GOLDEN DARCI (H470): C Y Ho (LUCKY BANNER) was found guilty of a charge of careless riding [Rule 100(1)] in that approaching the first turn he allowed his mount to shift in when not clear of FOREVER GLORIOUS, resulting in FOREVER GLORIOUS being taken in onto PRINCE ALEX, resulting in PRINCE ALEX being taken in across the running of GOLDEN DARCI which was checked. C Y Ho was suspended from riding in races for one Hong Kong raceday to be conducted on Thursday, 26 December 2024 at Happy Valley. In assessing penalty, the Stewards determined the carelessness grade 2 and the consequences grade 2 and also considered his excellent race riding record. Over the concluding stages could not be ridden out when placed in restricted room between JUMBO FORTUNE and SURE JOYFUL which shifted in slightly. SUPER BABY (G364): After the event, R King reported that her mount was pressured in the early stages by LUCKY BANNER and gave ground in the Home Straight. Shortly after the start was hampered when taken in by MASTEROFMYUNIVERSE (Z Purton) which shifted in when not clear. Z Purton was reprimanded. In the Home Straight lay in and over the concluding stages was positioned close to PRIME MORTAR. MASTEROFMYUNIVERSE (J325): Jumped only fairly. Sent for sampling post-race. TEAM HAPPY (J218): Bumped on jumping. PANDA LEGEND (H002): Approaching the 400 Metres was steadied to avoid BRAVE OF FRIENDS which raced tight to the inside of FORTUNE WARRIOR. BRAVE OF FRIENDS (J382): Bumped on jumping. FORTUNE WARRIOR (H229): From the 700 Metres was left racing wide and without cover and raced keenly. SHINE BRIGHT (H385): No report. SMART FIGHTER (H278): Sent for sampling post-race. WORLD HERO (J413): From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. After the event, H Doyle confirmed that from the outside barrier she was instructed to ride her mount in a conservative manner in the early stages. She added with the blinkers removed for tonight’s race WORLD HERO did not travel well during the event and finished the race off only fairly in the Home Straight. CRYSTAL POWERFUL (H068): Raced keenly in the middle stages.

LOVERO (H451): After the event, H Bowman stated that although his mount jumped awkwardly, it was able to lead the event. He said in the Home Straight LOVERO did not respond to his riding and weakened over the concluding stages. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of LOVERO, a last start winner, was considered disappointing as compared to its last race start. Before being allowed to race again, LOVERO will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. SAMARKAND (H070): No report. M UNICORN (G466): Bumped shortly after the start. ROMANTIC LAOS (G476): Near the 900 Metres became unbalanced when bumped by COMET SPLENDIDO which shifted out slightly. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. SILO (J399): Sent for sampling post-race. DARING PURSUIT (G424): When questioned, R Moore stated that near the 50 Metres he felt his mount go amiss and eased it down from the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be lame in its right front leg. Before being allowed to race again, DARING PURSUIT will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. COMET SPLENDIDO (G071): Shortly after the start was crowded between SILO and M UNICORN. JUMBO LEGEND (G266): Jumped awkwardly and shortly after the start was checked when crowded by SUPER UNICORN which shifted out abruptly despite the efforts of its rider. After the race, C Y Ho reported that his mount made a respiratory noise during the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to have an epiglottic entrapment. NEVER TOO SOON (E434): Bumped shortly after the start. SUPER UNICORN (H481): Near the 300 Metres shifted out and made contact with DARING PURSUIT. SUPER UNICORN then lay out in the early part of the Home Straight and after being corrected by its rider shifted in towards SILO, resulting in its rider M Barzalona having to stop riding and straighten his mount near the 150 Metres. Noted to have sustained a small abrasion to the left hind pastern. Sent for sampling post-race. AESTHETICISM (H289): Shortly after the start was steadied when crowded between SOLEIL FIGHTER and NEVER TOO SOON. When finishing the race off well over the concluding stages raced in restricted room between SOLEIL FIGHTER and SILO. SOLEIL FIGHTER (J127): Sent for sampling post-race.

SUGAR SUGAR (G016): Shortly after the start was bumped and then from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. GUSTOSISIMO (J303): Bumped on jumping. Between the 300 Metres and the 200 Metres was held up for clear running between GIANT LEAP and LUCKY EIGHT. Over the final 100 Metres lay in when racing tight between LUCKY EIGHT and SUPER JOY N FUN. KYRUS DRAGON (H396): Jumped only fairly and was bumped shortly after the start. Sent for sampling post-race. SUPER JOY N FUN (J164): No report. CHATEAUNEUF (J219): Bumped on jumping. Between the 300 Metres and the 200 Metres was held up for clear running behind GIANT LEAP. After being shifted to the outside of GIANT LEAP, CHATEAUNEUF then became held up for clear running between the 150 Metres and the 100 Metres where it obtained a narrow run to the inside of LUCKY EIGHT. LUCKY EIGHT (G204): When questioned, R Moore stated that over the concluding stages he had some concerns with the action of his mount and for this reason he did not fully ride it out to the finish of the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. DENFIELD (G471): When questioned, W Buick stated that in the Home Straight his mount felt awkward in its action when he placed it under pressure but finished the race off reasonably well. Notwithstanding this advice, W Buick was advised that, wherever possible, he should ensure that he continues to ride his mounts out to the finish of the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. AURORA LADY (J066): Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. Sent for sampling post-race. SPICY GOLD (H440): Over the final 300 Metres was held up and did not obtain clear running. GIANT LEAP (J143): After the event, Z Purton stated that, in his opinion, GIANT LEAP did not appreciate the step-up to Class 3. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. GOKO WIN (H069): Shortly after the start was bumped and became unbalanced. STORMING DRAGON (J237): No report.

MOMENTS IN TIME (H474): Near the 1600 Metres was checked and shifted to the inside of STUNNING PEACH when that runner lost ground. When questioned, H Bowman stated that the intention was to ride MOMENTS IN TIME conservatively in the early stages as the horse had a tendency to race keenly in its most recent race starts. He said as the start was effected MOMENTS IN TIME shifted in abruptly and made contact with STAR CONTACT and then shortly after was steadied when crowded to the inside of FLAMINGO TRILLION which shifted in. Trainer C S Shum confirmed the instructions and said he issued such instructions as MOMENTS IN TIME had raced disappointingly when ridden in a forward position in its most recent starts when it raced keenly. Sent for sampling post-race. SENOR TOBA (G103): On jumping was checked when crowded between STAR CONTACT which was taken in and STUNNING PEACH which was taken out slightly by KARMA. Over the concluding stages could not be ridden out when positioned close to MR ASCENDENCY. KARMA (G392): After the event, C Y Ho reported that he was instructed to settle his mount where comfortable but after jumping well KARMA raced in a more forward position than it had at its most recent starts. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. YELLOWFIN (G326): No report. STUNNING PEACH (J301): When questioned, Z Purton stated that after being shifted in behind MR ASCENDENCY, STUNNING PEACH reacted adversely and, in his opinion, attempted to jump a section on the track at the 1600 Metres. He said as a result STUNNING PEACH lost ground when it became badly unbalanced. He added when placed under pressure in the Home Straight STUNNING PEACH became held up for clear running behind RED HARE KING for some distance after the 300 Metres and approaching the 150 Metres was obliged to steady his mount when disappointed for clear running between RED HARE KING and FLAMINGO TRILLION when both runners shifted ground slightly. He said as a result his mount lost momentum when it could not be tested for some distance thereafter. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The racing manners of STUNNING PEACH were considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, STUNNING PEACH will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial amongst other runners. In addition, before STUNNING PEACH is permitted to race at Happy Valley again, it will also be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial at Happy Valley. Sent for sampling post-race.
