LITTLE FAIRY (H206): Sent for sampling post-race. TATTENHAM (H121): Jumped awkwardly, made contact with the left side of its barrier and then was bumped shortly after. VULCANUS (J150): From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Noted to have lost its right front plate after the race. THE KHAN (H489): Sent for sampling post-race. BEAU GOSSE (G389): Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. The performance of BEAU GOSSE, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, BEAU GOSSE will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. DRAGON PRIDE (D164): The performance of DRAGON PRIDE, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, DRAGON PRIDE will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. DRAGON DELIGHT (G395): Sent for sampling post-race. COLOURFUL BARON (G301): A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. PODIUM (H173): After travelling a short distance was crowded between YEABOI and HANG’S CHOICE which shifted in. After the 200 Metres was eased to avoid TATTENHAM (A Badel) which shifted out when not clear. A Badel was advised to exercise more care. After the race, K H Chan reported that with the horse stepping up in distance tonight, he was requested to take up a more forward position. Trainer C W Chang confirmed the instructions issued. Noted to have lost its left front plate after the race. YEABOI (G372): Bumped at the start. Noted to have sustained a small cut to the left hind fetlock. HAPPIHOOD (H261): On jumping was crowded between YEABOI and TATTENHAM which shifted out. HANG'S CHOICE (E311): When being shifted in to obtain a position behind YEABOI near the 1300 Metres became awkwardly placed close to YEABOI and was unbalanced when being steadied to avoid that runner’s heels. The performance of HANG’S CHOICE, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, HANG’S CHOICE will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

MAJESTIC KNIGHT (G258): Jumped only fairly. Sent for sampling post-race. NERVOUS WITNESS (E421): Close to the winning post raced tight to the inside of WHIZZ KID which shifted in slightly. WHIZZ KID (E392): Sent for sampling post-race. COPARTNER AMBITION (E218): From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. BABY CRYSTAL (H081): After the race, Y L Chung reported that his mount hung out in the middle stages making the turns and failed to run on in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. BEAUTY WAVES (H294): Hung out on the Home Turn after being taken wider by WHIZZ KID leaving the 400 Metres. COLOURFUL PRINCE (E418): No report. MA COMET (H391): Sent for sampling post-race. INNOTECH STAR (J103): A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. NOTTHESILLYONE (J383): Bumped at the start. GRAND NOVA (J323): Jumped only fairly. Sent for sampling post-race. VICTORYTHIRTYTHREE (J216): Near the 700 Metres was steadied to avoid NOTTHESILLYONE (B Avdulla) which shifted in when not quite clear. B Avdulla was advised to exercise more care. Near the 600 Metres was then steadied away from NOTTHESILLYONE when that runner shifted out when being corrected by its rider to avoid shifting in and crowding MA COMET. SPICY SPANGLE (J087): Near the 600 Metres was steadied away from VICTORYTHIRTYTHREE. Near the 200 Metres became unbalanced when bumped by GORGEOUS VITALITY (L Hewitson) which shifted to the outside of VICTORYTHIRTYTHREE to obtain clear running. L Hewitson was advised to exercise more care. SUPER SIXTY (J071): After the race, C Y Ho reported that his mount kicked out behind as the start was effected and as a result was slow to begin. OVERSUBSCRIBED (C361): From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. PARENTS' LOVE (H405): After the race, Y L Chung stated that after leading PARENTS’ LOVE did not finish the race off in the Home Straight and failed to run out a strong 1000 Metres. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. GORGEOUS VITALITY (G051): Bumped at the start. Briefly held up approaching the 200 Metres when being shifted to the outside of VICTORYTHIRTYTHREE and bumped with SPICY SPANGLE. MODEST GENTLEMAN (G352): No report.

HAPPY TRIO (G244): From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. SPICY GOLD (H440): Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. Sent for sampling post-race. AURORA LADY (J066): Had both hind plates refitted at the holding stables, was examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race. GOLDEN RISE (H242): Sent for sampling post-race. RACINGRACE (J102): Jumped only fairly. Leaving the 1000 Metres was bumped by COLONEL when racing tight between CIRCUIT SEVEN and COLONEL. When being steadied to obtain cover leaving the 900 Metres commenced to race keenly. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. PARTY WARRIOR (E368): Jumped only fairly. SKY PROPHET (J095): Slow to begin and from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Bumped near the 1000 Metres. CIRCUIT SEVEN (D474): After the race, M F Poon stated that he had to make some use of his mount to hold the lead in the early stages and as a result CIRCUIT SEVEN did not finish the race off when placed under pressure in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. SPEEDY SMARTIE (H108): Near the 900 Metres was steadied to avoid MY INTELLIGENT (M L Yeung) which shifted in when not clear. M L Yeung was reprimanded. Noted to have lost its left front plate after the race. HERCULES (C476): Jumped only fairly. Approaching the 1000 Metres became unbalanced when it bumped with SKY PROPHET. When questioned, A Atzeni stated that from a favourable barrier his intention was to endeavour to hold a midfield position. He said HERCULES, despite his efforts, did not show sufficient pace to do so and as a result became detached from the field in the early stages. He said throughout the early and middle stages he encouraged HERCULES to improve its position, however, HERCULES did not respond to his riding and remained at the tail of the field. He added that after encouraging his mount forward on the Home Turn and in the early part of the Home Straight HERCULES did not respond to his riding until inside the 200 Metres where it finished the race off in a satisfactory manner. The Stewards advised Jockey Atzeni that, wherever possible, he should ensure that he places his mounts under appropriate pressure to allow them to finish in the best possible placings in the field. MY INTELLIGENT (G031): Held up making the Home Turn and near the 300 Metres was steadied to avoid RACINGRACE. For a short distance near the 200 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running. COLONEL (D090): Bumped leaving the 1000 Metres. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. CALIFORNIA CIBLE (E431): Withdrawn on 3.7.24 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame left fore) and replaced by Standby Declared Starter SPICY GOLD. Before being allowed to race again, CALIFORNIA CIBLE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

SNOWALOT (E397): From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Near the 250 Metres was shifted to the outside of YEE CHEONG RAIDER to obtain clear running. DRAGON STAR (H128): No report. D STAR (G374): A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. NORTHERN BEAST (H233): Sent for sampling post-race. DARCI JOY (E161): After the race, M F Poon stated that his mount was disadvantaged by racing wide and without cover and as a result was left without a finishing effort in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. THE AZURE (J227): No report. DOUBLE WIN (H382): Raced wide and without cover from the 700 Metres when DRAGON STAR shifted out. Sent for sampling post-race. STURDY RUBY (H207): Jumped only fairly. YEE CHEONG RAIDER (J176): After the race, B Thompson could offer no explanation for his mount’s disappointing performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of mucus in the horse’s trachea. FOREMOST TEDDY (J058): When questioned, K H Chan stated that after following LUCKY BANNER he attempted to improve into a run between LUCKY BANNER and DRAGON STAR on the Home Turn, but was obliged to check his mount near the 250 Metres when disappointed for this run. He added that he then commenced to ride FOREMOST TEDDY along shortly after, but then struck the heels of LUCKY BANNER approaching the 200 Metres which resulted in FOREMOST TEDDY blundering. K H Chan was advised that in similar circumstances he should exercise more care than he did on this occasion to ensure that there is sufficient room when he improves into runs in future. LUCKY BANNER (G354): No report. MATSU VICTOR (H472): Jumped awkwardly and from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. In the early stages raced keenly when being steadied to obtain cover.

INTREPID WINNER (G144): From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. After the race, K De Melo reported that he had some concerns with his mount’s action in front throughout the race. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Before being allowed to race again, INTREPID WINNER will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. SERANGOON (H296): No report. JOY OF SPRING (H383): Bumped at the start. For some distance after the 300 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when being shifted to the outside of FOREVER GLORIOUS and in this incident made contact with SPECIAL HEDGE. Sent for sampling post-race. SATIRICAL GLORY (H073): After the race, H Bowman reported that his mount raced too keenly in the lead and as a consequence ran inside the standard time throughout the early and middle stages despite his efforts to restrain his mount. He added as a result SATIRICAL GLORY was left without a finishing effort in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. FOREVER GLORIOUS (G229): No report. PRECISE EXPRESS (D198): No report. PEGASUS GENERAL (G189): Noted to have lost its right front plate after the race. SUPER HONG KONG (D241): Bumped at the start. LEGION OF MERIT (D419): Shifted in at the start and was bumped. After the race, B Thompson stated that he was obliged to make some use of his mount from the 700 Metres when taken wider by SPECIAL HEDGE and as a result LEGION OF MERIT did not run on in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of LEGION OF MERIT, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, LEGION OF MERIT will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. PALACE PAL (G172): From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. SPECIAL HEDGE (H354): Approaching the 250 Metres was bumped by JOY OF SPRING. After the race, L Hewitson could offer no excuse for his mount’s disappointing performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. ME TIME (J074): At declaration time, H Bentley was declared as the rider of both SERANGOON and ME TIME. It was established that H Bentley had a firm commitment to ride SERANGOON. As such, the Stewards permitted A Badel to be substituted as the rider of ME TIME. For this declaration error, Trainer D J Whyte was fined $2,000. Jumped only fairly. Sent for sampling post-race.

FLYING WROTE (J290): When questioned, Y L Chung stated that his instructions were to hold a forward position either in or behind the lead. He said FLYING WROTE, under its top weight of 135 lbs, did not show sufficient pace in the early stages to do so and as a consequence settled further back in the field than intended. He added that FLYING WROTE was able to finish the race off satisfactorily over the concluding stages and, in his opinion, is now looking to be stepped up in distance for its next race start. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. HAPPY SOUL (G249): Jumped awkwardly and then was crowded shortly after the start. GALLANT VALOUR (H323): Bumped at the start. Lay in over the concluding stages, resulting in its rider H Bowman having to correct his mount approaching the finish. Sent for sampling post-race. GET SET WIN (J287): Shortly after the start was steadied to avoid STERLING WONGCHOY which shifted out and away from SO TREASURE despite the efforts of its rider. CAMINO (H231): Over the concluding stages raced tight between TRAVEL GOLF and GALLANT VALOUR which lay in before being corrected by its rider near the finish. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. SO TREASURE (H351): After the race, L Ferraris stated that his mount came under pressure from the 600 Metres and did not finish the race off thereafter. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. RAGNARR (H297): No report. SUPER HIGHWAY (G050): From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Noted to have bled from both nostrils and have sustained a wound to the right hind cannon after the race. Before being allowed to race again, SUPER HIGHWAY will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. STERLING WONGCHOY (H273): No report. TRAVEL GOLF (H063): After the race, A Atzeni reported that his instructions were to endeavour to find cover. He said TRAVEL GOLF jumped well tonight and when caught wide in the early stages he elected to allow it to stride forward and race outside the lead to avoid racing wide. He added as a consequence TRAVEL GOLF settled in a more forward position than intended. Sent for sampling post-race. HERO STAR (D033): Bumped at the start. SPICY SO SMART (G203): Jumped awkwardly.

RED HARE KING (H188): Near the 650 Metres bumped with JUMBO LEGEND after RED HARE KING was shifted to the outside of CAPITAL LEGEND to obtain a position outside that runner. Over the concluding stages brushed with STAR CONTACT as that runner shifted in as it commenced to improve past RED HARE KING. ZOOM BOOM (G131): Bumped on the hindquarters shortly after the start. Sent for sampling post-race. FORTUNATE SON (J446): Bumped shortly after the start. JOYFUL HUNTER (H198): Sustained an abrasion to the right hock at the holding stables, was examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race. STAR CONTACT (E472): Sent for sampling post-race. JOLLY RULER (E346): Passing the 1400 Metres got its head up when being steadied to allow ZOOM BOOM to cross. AESTHETICISM (H289): Shortly after the start shifted in and made contact with the hindquarters of ZOOM BOOM. GLORIOUS JOURNEY (J137): From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Was left racing very wide and without cover from the 700 Metres. CAPITAL LEGEND (G333): After the race, C Y Ho reported that his mount travelled well in the lead but failed to respond to his riding in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. WRITTEN CASA (J305): Bumped at the start. Raced wide and without cover in the early stages. JUMBO LEGEND (G266): Near the 650 Metres was bumped and raced wide and without cover thereafter. After the race, A Badel stated that after making a mid-race move near the 800 Metres, JUMBO LEGEND was obliged to race wide and without cover thereafter but failed to respond to his riding in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer” which had previously been reported. EXUBERANT (E282): Bumped at the start.

NORDIC DRAGON (G467): For some distance near the 300 Metres was bumped by ASTROLOGER which attempted to shift out. Lay in in the Home Straight. WATCH BUDDY (H185): Approaching the 250 Metres was disappointed for clear running between GOLDEN EMPIRE and CALIFORNIA TOUCH and was shifted to the inside of GOLDEN EMPIRE where it obtained clear running after the 200 Metres. Sent for sampling post-race. ASTROLOGER (G102): Bumped shortly after the start. Approaching the 1000 Metres was steadied to avoid WATCH BUDDY which shifted in when being corrected by its rider. In the early stages raced keenly and refused to settle and got its head up when being steadied away from WATCH BUDDY for some distance after the 900 Metres. Approaching the 300 Metres was held up for clear running and made contact with NORDIC DRAGON as it endeavoured to obtain clear running to the outside of CALIFORNIA TOUCH. When disappointed for this run, ASTROLOGER then did not obtain clear running for the remainder of the event and could not be ridden out to the finish. CALIFORNIA TOUCH (J051): Jumped awkwardly. GOLDEN EMPIRE (E490): Raced wide and without cover from the 700 Metres. LUCKY ARCHANGEL (E385): After the 1000 Metres was steadied and shifted out and away from GOLDEN EMPIRE which shifted out slightly. After the race, M F Poon stated that when caught wide in the early stages he was obliged to allow his mount to stride forward and lead the event. He said as a consequence of the use he had to make of his mount in the early stages LUCKY ARCHANGEL did not finish the race off in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. HEALTHY HEALTHY (H203): Over the concluding stages raced tight between ARMOUR EAGLE and WATCH BUDDY which shifted in slightly and as a result could not be ridden out to the finish of the event. After the race, A Badel reported that his mount was coughing during the running of the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. Before being allowed to race again, HEALTHY HEALTHY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. Sent for sampling post-race. MIGHTY COMMANDER (J360): On jumping was steadied when crowded between YOUNG ARROW and WATCH BUDDY which shifted in slightly. Approaching the 50 Metres obtained a narrow run to the inside of YOUNG ARROW and raced tight to the inside of that runner over the concluding stages. NATURAL HIGH (J365): Approaching the 1000 Metres became unbalanced when buffeted for room between WATCH BUDDY which shifted out when being corrected by its rider and GOLDEN EMPIRE (L Hewitson) which shifted in. L Hewitson was advised to exercise more care. RIGHTEOUS ARION (H059): Near the 800 Metres was steadied away from ASTROLOGER and then raced keenly for some distance thereafter. YOUNG ARROW (J401): Crowded at the start. Noted to have lost its left hind plate after the race. ARMOUR EAGLE (G093): When commencing to finish the race off well near the 150 Metres raced tight between HEALTHY HEALTHY and LUCKY ARCHANGEL as it improved between those runners. Over the concluding stages then raced tight between HEALTHY HEALTHY and YOUNG ARROW. Sent for sampling post-race.
