LAUGH TALE (G406): Shifted out shortly after the start. After the race, H Bowman could offer no excuse for his mount’s disappointing performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of LAUGH TALE was considered to be disappointing as compared to its previous race starts. Before being allowed to race again, LAUGH TALE will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. AESTHETICISM (H289): Crowded shortly after the start. Sent for sampling post-race. BIG RED (H299): Jumped awkwardly. From the 400 Metres until the 150 Metres was held up for clear running behind HOLY POWER. Over the concluding stages could not be fully ridden out when positioned tight to the inside of HOLY POWER. FLYING MOJITO (G412): No report. STRONGEST BOY (H027): Jumped only fairly. After the race, K Teetan reported that his mount would appreciate a firmer track than what it was presented with today. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. HOLY POWER (H039): Approaching the winning post raced tight to the inside of MISTER DAPPER which shifted in. After the race, A Badel reported that with his mount stepping up in distance today, he was asked to hold a more forward position. MISTER DAPPER (H376): After the race, M Chadwick advised that from a wide barrier he was asked to take up a forward position on his mount. Sent for sampling post-race. SPONGE BABE (H350): Bumped on jumping. After the 1000 Metres was eased to avoid LAUGH TALE which shifted in to obtain cover behind CHILLI BABA. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to have bled from both nostrils. Before being allowed to race again, SPONGE BABE will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. JOY OF SPRING (H383): Sent for sampling post-race. GOOD GOOD (J224): Approaching the winning post B Avdulla was obliged to correct his mount when it shifted in towards BIG RED. After the race, B Avdulla reported that with his mount stepping up in distance today, he was requested to take up a more forward position. TIGER AND GOLD (J064): No report. MISSION VOICE (H444): Near the 300 Metres had some difficulty obtaining clear running behind BIG RED. Near the 100 Metres became held up for clear running behind GOOD GOOD and was shifted to the outside to continue into clear running. CHILLI BABA (G339): Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. LOOKING COOL (G151): No report.
