IMPERIAL MAGEE (E460): Near the 350 Metres was momentarily crowded between NICE BIRDIE and GO HERO (L Hewitson) which shifted out before being corrected by its rider. L Hewitson was advised to exercise more care. Approaching the 100 Metres NATURAL GOLD shifted in, resulting in its rider, K De Melo, correcting his mount. Whilst being corrected and being ridden along, NATURAL GOLD then shifted out, resulting in SUPER WISE DRAGON, which had improved to the outside of NATURAL GOLD, being taken out, causing FREE FOAL and GO HERO to be taken out and IMPERIAL MAGEE then having to be checked when crowded to the inside of NOBLE PURSUIT. K De Melo was severely reprimanded and advised in similar circumstances he would be expected to stop riding his mounts when they shift ground whilst not clear sooner than what he did on this occasion. NOBLE WIN (H195): Jumped awkwardly and then was bumped shortly after the start. After the race, A Badel stated that from a wide barrier he was asked to ride the horse in a conservative manner. He said after settling back in the field, NOBLE WIN did not finish the race off and was somewhat disappointing. He added that, in his opinion, NOBLE WIN prefers softer going and also would appreciate a race run at a stronger tempo, particularly when settling back in the field. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer” which had previously been reported. SUPER BONUS (H259): A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. DREAM PURSUER (G241): No report. FREE FOAL (E065): Was crowded at the 100 Metres. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. GO HERO (H315): Jumped only fairly. Was crowded at the 100 Metres. NOBLE PURSUIT (H324): Was sent for sampling post-race. SMART FIGHTER (H278): Raced keenly in the middle stages. Was sent for sampling post-race. SUPER WISE DRAGON (G475): Was crowded at the 100 Metres. NATURAL GOLD (E402): Shifted in approaching the 100 Metres before being corrected by its rider. ASIAN ONE (E400): On jumping shifted in, was then crowded shortly after and as a result blundered. YOUNG HORIZON (G272): Was sent for sampling post-race. NICE BIRDIE (G470): Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. FORERUNNER (G465): Was withdrawn on raceday morning by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (fever). Before being allowed to race again, FORERUNNER will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
