On March 7th, a turf trial at Conghua over 1200m saw the horse travel along the rail, responding to urging with a third-place finish. Seven weeks prior, in a dirt track 1200m race, performance was poor; a slow start led to settling towards the rear, maintaining an even pace without any significant acceleration, resulting in a heavy defeat. A subsequent barrier trial showed only moderate form. The horse’s first run after returning was over 1200m on Happy Valley turf, and this time benefits from a one-pound weight reduction. Facing unfavorable competition within its group, the situation appears challenging despite previous success at this distance. Despite drawing a good barrier and potentially tracking the pace, pre-race work showed limited improvement, suggesting few chances of success.
