Three weeks ago, this horse performed respectably in a straight course race, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear but finishing with a strong run. In a subsequent turf trial over 1200m at Sha Tin, he will carry two pounds less weight this time while drawing an outside barrier. He is expected to settle back in the field, however, his finishing kick was not as strong as rivals and the unfavorable draw reduces his chances despite similar sectionals to horses in the same group; a final gallop offers little improvement to his prospects.
