On March 6th, this horse recorded (turf trial 800m: 6-7-6), showing little improvement after being urged from the 300m mark. On May 23rd at Conghua (turf trial 1000m: 5-8-6) he was slow to jump but responded poorly to urging. This is his debut run as a New Winner, having commenced training in Hong Kong in early February. He has trialed twice this season without impressive performances; low leg action and labored stride, showing potential for a strong finish on the straight but lacking overall power. He doesn’t appear primed for a winning debut this time.
