On April 8th, a turf trial over 1000m saw the horse finish (5-5-3) with an encouraging pace. On March 14th, during a Happy Valley barrier trial over 1200m, it showed a good response when pushed at the 200m mark. A further Happy Valley turf trial on March 15th over 1000m saw it surge forward from an inside draw after being urged at the 200m mark. On April 24th, a Conghua grass trial over 1000m resulted in a solid second-place finish throughout. This horse is debuting as a new runner, having commenced training upon arrival in Hong Kong last November. Four barrier trials have been undertaken this season, showing incremental improvement. The horse breaks cleanly with a quick stride, possesses good early speed and willingness to track the pace. Well prepared for its debut, and with Zac Purton consistently riding it in work, connections believe it has strong chances."
