Two weeks ago, this horse delivered a strong performance over a Happy Valley mile, jumping moderately and settling towards the rear before making up ground with fast splits in the final two sections. He finished fifth, beaten three and a half lengths. In a subsequent trial over an extended Happy Valley mile, he benefits from a 2lb weight reduction but faces a time difference within his group and has drawn a poor barrier. His finishing kick appears to be lacking, making for an unfavorable situation; even if able to secure a good position tracking the leaders, winning chances are low.
