Two weeks ago, this horse ran poorly over a Happy Valley mile, tracking the pace but fading significantly in the final stages. He finished reasonably close, beaten three and a half lengths, displaying a decent level of ability. The horse has since dropped 38 pounds in body weight and is returning from a break to race again over an extended Happy Valley mile and a half this time, carrying an additional 18 pounds. Facing favorable competition timings and drawing a good barrier, the horse appears capable of leading. Based on relative strength, it's considered the strongest contender in this race; a clean jump and intent to lead should see it finish among the frontrunners.
