Four weeks ago, this horse ran satisfactorily over a Happy Valley mile, jumping slowly and settling towards the back before making a strong move in the middle stages, covering the final two sections well with good momentum. Returning to Sha Tin over 1400m, it races this time without any weight reduction and hasn’t shown promising form in barrier trials recently. A hold-up tactic is anticipated but its finishing kick may not be competitive against rivals, presenting a difficult challenge despite some previous success at this distance.
