It made a move in the middle stages, chasing Laser Speed, finishing eighth beaten three and a half lengths. In a subsequent trial over 1200m at Sha Tin, carrying a three-pound deduction, it showed a time difference within its group but lacked sufficient finishing speed to compete effectively and is not considered a strong contender for this race.
