On March 21st, a dirt trial over 1200m saw the horse move out on the bend and respond well to urging (6-7-5 sectionals). On February 25th, a turf trial over 1000m showed gradual improvement with a relaxed demeanor (6-5-4 sectionals). On February 7th, during a dirt trial over 1200m, the horse was slightly awkward turning but responded well to whipping in the straight (2-3-2 sectionals). On March 9th, another dirt trial over 1200m showed an early pace before fading towards the finish (2-2-6 sectionals). A turf trial on November 26th saw a slow start with gradual movement to the outside rail and maintained a tracking position (11-11-10 sectionals). This is the horse's debut race after arriving in Hong Kong last August. Five barrier trials this season have yielded unremarkable results; while stepping low, its stride is comparatively slow. The horse appears better suited for distances of 1400m to a mile and lacks strong acceleration. In this first outing, it’s likely not at peak fitness, so observing one race before forming an opinion would be prudent.
