On March 25th, a turf trial over 1000m saw the horse settling comfortably and showing a strong burst of speed. On March 7th, following a stable transfer, a turf trial at Conghua over 1000m left a positive impression. Prior to that, in early March over Sha Tin’s 1200m, the horse performed poorly, slow out of the gate and settling towards the rear with a steady pace but failing to accelerate, resulting in a significant defeat. After a spell, two barrier trials have indicated improvement. This is its first run after transferring stables, with a weight reduction of 23 pounds and stepping up to a straight course for the first time over this distance. It will carry an additional 2 pounds this race. Despite drawing a favorable barrier, it's expected to be held up in the field; however, its finishing kick is considered strong within the group. Zac Purton takes the ride, with some understanding of the horse’s capabilities. The horse appears more mature following recent work but this distance may not suit and trainer-jockey synergy seems lacking making a win difficult.
