On March 18th, a dirt trial over 1200m saw the horse track closely in the first two sections before weakening on the straight. On February 28th, a Conghua turf trial over 1200m showed the horse travelling wide throughout and fading towards the finish. A further turf trial at Conghua on February 14th over 1200m saw it deliberately held back in position but with a decent run overall. On March 21st, during a dirt trial over 1200m, it moved out after 200 meters and pushed forward with effort. Prior to March, the horse ran poorly on Sha Tin turf over 1200m, slow from the gate and settling at the back with an even pace but no finishing kick, resulting in a heavy defeat. After a short break, four barrier trials yielded unremarkable performances. Now stepping up to Happy Valley over 1200m for its first attempt at this distance, it will carry a three-pound deduction, however the track and distance are unfavorable; despite drawing a good gate, observing its performance in one race is recommended before making further assessments.
