Two weeks ago, this horse ran poorly over Sha Tin’s 1200m, jumping slowly and settling towards the back. It made a move in the middle stages but failed to sustain the effort, finishing well-beaten. Now stepping down to a Happy Valley sprint for its debut on the surface with a one-pound weight reduction, the shorter distance isn't ideal. This time it will likely be held up, however, the finishing kick is not expected to match rivals and despite a favorable barrier draw, this run appears to be more of a trial."
